What do you like best about the product?
Sophos Xg firewall helps our hospital mostly on network protection , VLAN configuration,VPN configuration and firewall rules configuration and also we appreciate the support we are getting from Sophos support and customer care team, also we have been using Sophos on managing users using captive portal every user is authenticated before accessing the internet. so with this technology we have improved internet speed to our organization
What do you dislike about the product?
The mostly challenge we are getting is when we are trying to access the device on local area network we are getting certificate error massage. If Sophos will solve this issue will be much appreciated, But despite all the mentioned challenges we appreciate the support we are getting from Sophos customer care and Sophos Support when we are facing issues on daily activities of the Hospital. I recommend mostly to Sophos to remove that certificate error massage when accessing the firewall devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Xg firewall helps our hospital mostly on network protection and and configuration of VLAN,VPN and firewall rules and also appreciate the support we are getting from Sophos, Sophos also help us mostly on Nuting configuration by allowing System support to access local servers and provide Support, Helps us also on managing users by using captive portal with this feature user are authenticated first before accessing the internet.

The Sophos firewall device is easy to configure and simply network related configurations , if someone is looking for the best firewall device i recommend Sophos

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos XG firewall ability to Detect Threat on a network, email security, Network Protection, Web and Application Filtering, Server and Endpoint protection along with it's cloud deployment model has made deployment and administration seamless and the Sophos Central Console also makes an administrator to be at rest and it's ease of monitoring and having insight from a single dashboard makes a perfect solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
XG Firewall integration into a client network has a little to minimal service impact on the speed, but security of the network is more important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with Sophos XG firewall makes basic, advanced and complex security look simple and it can be deployed and integrated into any architecture seamlessly. Also, the available study materials on the Sophos learning portal is the best.Threat Detection, email security, Network Protection, Web and Application Filtering, Server and Endpoint protection

Sophos XG Firewall is a full packaged and complete cybersecurity solution that every company and administrator needs to deploy to solve all existing and recurring security and vulnerability risk.

Rarely there are false positives with some of the advanced features of layer 7 security that need to be adjusted for different environments

Handling other areas of security besides stateful packet inspection

What do you like best about the product?
It provides seamless integration with Active Directory, in my case all internet users go via the radius server to get network access, and for Internet authentication one uses captive portal which is synchronized with my AD.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are lots of upgrades to the firmware which may end up affecting stability of features such as SSL VPN.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for identifying internet users and reporting on Internet usage and also monitoring user behavior.
Report generation weekly and monthly to assess our network threat levels.
Safeguarding our organizational IT infrastructure and Data, through Intrusion Prevention and protection from Ransomware. We also use it for Mail filtering and scanning.
Lastly for filtering and forwarding of external traffic to the rightful servers in conjunction with Edge Servers.

What do you like best about the product?
Sophos XG firewall has got an interactive GUI. Reporting platform is very good and it has got easy use SSL VPN for the organization. With Sophos XG Firewall you can track down each and every network traffic on reporting screen. Sophos XG Firewall has got a good ransomware protection feature. Sophos XG firewall Also provides a central interface to manage all Sophos endpoint client from the firewall.DLP feature of the Sophos Xg firewall also excellent as it provides in-depth data analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sophos Support is very busy and it takes hour of waiting to reach them. Customer Support from foreign doest understands our English properly and their shift timing not appropriate according to India time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting service in Sophos Xg firewall was getting stopped due to bug in the software, this issue has been resolved by the Sophos team.

The separate training session should be there for the Sophos Xg firewall on their new feature which there in firewall and the client should regularly get an update from the Sophos team.

The Firewall or UTM is very complete and is a solution that satisfies all the needs of security and protection in the network, most of the solutions of this type sell their services or modules separately compared to Sophos and I think it is very innovative because day by day adds new features to the sun.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment only when they release a product update, it has minimal bugs.

Restriction to users and protection in my network in general.

It is a very complete solution and other solutions of this type do not have all the modules or protections that Sophos offers.

Because This is only work on mozila and internat explorer only. and this is exceptional point for dislike and graphics is not attractive but work is easily.

This software provided firewall internet protection and banned hackers, unwanted social site. and provided benefit us to banned like viruses, hackers, social benefited for our company .
