Ubuntu: easily use free OS
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a free Operating System that offers all what it is needed to work with a computer. Easy to use and with a large offer of software, it is a great OS, even for who hasn't confidence with Linux based OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has to develop a more user-friendly interface and add some paid program if the user want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu improved my graphic work speed and let me a greater control over my system updates (done only when I had time to perform them and not forced on me, when I work).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider Ubuntu as a second OS on your devices at least. It could be a great surprise to you.
Then you can also choose to keep it as first OS. Ubuntu offers a free OS and that's a good thing as you can try it and if you don't like it, well, you can go back to your previous OS. But if you like it, as i do, then you will keep it as your default OS and will discover all the features of this product.

Should support different themes for UI. I want to customise it, but very difficult.

Best free OS with great support
What do you like best about the product?
It's free... and it's linux. What else would you want? Is a very easy to use operative system for those of us working in science/IT jobs. It has a great community support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some releases or updates fail and sometimes the only way to restore the system is to do a clean installation again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for data science. Programming, data management, web development, image editing, regular office stuff... anything you may need from a computer. Except perhaps, playing games.
Simple and User friendly

It provides features that are not even provided in windows. User friendly GUI and terminal based functions are simple to execute.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its update files does not install properly and create issues.

It is the best platform for server side management as it provides specific features for server side services.

A very very small issue is that 18.04 in mu opinion isnt the best version yet. The system is very stable but some functions are not as intuitive as earlier editions

The best thing is the powerful commands that ubuntu system provides to the user.

Few commands like rm etc. have to be used with great responsibility as some operations once executed cannot be reverted.

Ubuntu is the Linux operation system totally free and open-source software. the interface is very user-friendly. Ubuntu is that the system is supported on an ongoing basis and very often there are updates and security patches. Ubuntu is that we don't need to use antivirus software, because Linux-based systems are very secure., you can configure Ubuntu like a layer 3 switch, like router, firewall.. whatever you can thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the modern(popular) games don't support Ubuntu OS. sometimes graphic quality is low. Linux is the software limitation that exists because many of the applications that we have in Windows do not exist in Linux.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can configure any network services, firewall, proxy, router, switch, and ect. using Linux, I feel more secure in terms of my sensitive information, because it more secure and protected.

I recommend u this software because Ubuntu is far more secure than other products at the market. There is so much community support and documentation available at absolutely no cost to you for the Ubuntu operating system,

The default graphical interface in my opinion is not the best, better to replace it with Mate or KDE.

I have reused with extreme simplicity some old PCs that were no longer performing well with Windows. And then it's free :-)

Popads is very bad; when you try to click on a link, it will automatically open.

It easily shows the CIBIL score, indicating the type of loan we require and will get with lower interest rates.

Ubuntu is a great Linux based operating system that is very stable and secure. It is also free and open-source. Moreover, Canonical is trying to make ubuntu better year after year. In fact, every year there is a new stable release. ubuntu provides a really long Long Term Support that can reach 5 years (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, for example, has an LTS period of 5 years ). Also, ubuntu has a large community base and very good documentation. ubuntu has a large software base. In fact, most of the available software has an installable ubuntu package. Also, it is very easy to use and play with.
Ubuntu updates are smooth and not aggressive.
Most known software run smoothly on ubuntu (Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack, chrome, Firefox, VirtualBox, VMware...).

What do you dislike about the product?
Adopting a new kernel version is very slow. In fact, the Ubuntu developers need a "lot of time" to use the latest longterm kernel version.
