What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Snowflake is that it lets teams analyze large amounts of data quickly without worrying about infrastructure or performance tuning. It removes much of the operational complexity that usually comes with data platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake’s power comes from simplicity, scalability, and cloud-native design, but that comes at a cost: higher bills for heavy workloads, some limitations for unstructured or ML-heavy use cases, and dependence on SQL skills and the Snowflake ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake solves problems of slow analytics, limited scalability, and complex infrastructure by providing a fully managed, cloud-native data platform. It separates compute and storage, allowing multiple teams to run queries simultaneously without performance issues. Snowflake also enables secure data sharing and easy recovery with features like Time Travel. The benefits include faster insights, operational simplicity, cost efficiency, and the ability to handle both structured and semi-structured data seamlessly.

Snowflake is very intuitive to use. You can spin up a very scalable and powerful data platform without spending too much time in managing the infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have loved to share Streamlit apps without creating Snowflake user accounts.

Snowflake helps us solve our data warehousing needs, giving us a scalable solution for our growing analytical needs in our company.

What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is very easy to use and quick to implement compared to traditional data warehouses. I like how compute and storage are separated, which makes scaling simple and cost-efficient for different workloads. Integration with BI tools and cloud services is smooth, and query performance is consistently strong. Because of its simplicity and reliability, it’s used very frequently for analytics and reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost can become difficult to track, especially with frequent queries and multiple users running workloads at the same time. Some advanced features require a deeper understanding to optimize properly, and debugging performance issues isn’t always straightforward. While support and documentation are good, fine-tuning usage to control costs takes effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake solves the challenge of managing and querying large volumes of data without worrying about infrastructure. It allows us to scale compute independently for different teams, avoid performance bottlenecks, and run analytics workloads efficiently. This reduces operational overhead, improves query performance, and enables faster insights for reporting and business decision-making.

I like that Snowflake is very scalable and appreciate the query performance using multi-cluster warehouse. I also found the initial setup to be very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The query history profiler could be a little bit faster.

Snowflake eliminates the need for me to maintain the data, offers great scalability, and enhances query performance with its multi-cluster warehouse.

The best part is the UI user interface and the option to integrate different application (Power BI DAXX) and PostgreSQl as a database seamless.

Everything. For querying, to build data apps, for ML pipelines, iceberg.

Mostly nothing but a feature in worksheets to create folders within folders.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to use simple SQL language to query different data sources that have been dumped into the datalake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that comes to mind, it's a pretty straight forward tool

It's allowing us to quickly query and create tables for Data Analytic and Dashboarding consumption.
User Point of view
What do you like best about the product?
The most important part is we can do different types of big data engineering and is very easy to use. We can do the etl process in a single go. The code can be implemented easily in the process and we can connect snowflake support for any help. I mainly use it everyday as most of my work is dependent on it. It supports pyspark as a new feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cortex is newly integrated so many updates are yet to come. So still waiting for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving different types of business problems like data integration, data transformation and data security. Even we are performing data masking and integration for the third party business.
