Incredibly Flexible Data Engineering Platform for Operational and Analytical Workloads
What do you like best about the product?
The most flexible data engineering platform. It takes a while to setup but once you have it running the ability for it to work as both an operational db and an analytical db is incredible
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got a lot of features and you really need to understand intricacies when setting it up. Can thus be challenging for small teams that lack a dedicated snowflake admin
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a ELT type hybrid data architecuture need and we also need to ingest transformed insights back into our product. Snowflake helps up achieve this with minimal latency
Fast, Flexible, and User-Friendly Data Warehousing with Snowflake
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Snowflake is its fast performance and ability to handle large amounts of data smoothly. It also works well across different cloud providers, which gives flexibility for companies. The interface is user-friendly compared to many traditional data warehouse systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Snowflake is that the pricing can become expensive if queries are not managed carefully. Some advanced features also have a learning curve for new users. It is powerful, but smaller businesses may find it more than they need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake solves the problem of storing, processing, and analyzing large amounts of data in one scalable platform. It helps by making reporting faster, improving collaboration across teams, and reducing the need to manage complex infrastructure. This benefits me by saving time and giving quicker insights for better decisions.
HOW SNOWFLAKE SOLVES DATA CHAOS IN HIGH-VELOCITY STAFFING FIRMS
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake lets me share live data without copying it. I can give my clients a secure view of their contracts, hours worked, and end dates. With historical data in Snowflake, I can also run models to forecast seasonal hiring spikes for clients. Snowflake is fully managed, so there’s no indexing, no tuning, and no 2 a.m. crashes right before payroll.
What do you dislike about the product?
To really use it, you need some SQL or Tableau skills; once you have them, it’s genuinely helpful for working with messy data. I haven’t experienced any problems while using it so far. I highly recommend it 💯
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake separates storage from compute, so five recruiters can run big searches at the same time without it crashing. It also gives clients a live view limited to their own contracts and roles.
Snowflake Handles Big Data Beautifully and Pairs Perfectly with PowerBI
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake consumes big volumes of data and works well with PowerBI to present customized outputs. Data organization and management is handled well by Snowflake!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - Snowflake does exactly what we need!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake is receiving data from multiple sources and platforms within the business and presents it together in one format/place. Data management and access control is great. Cost of subscribing and managing is attractive and does not appear to be overpriced. Support from Snowflake is excellent.
Maximum Performance with Minimum Maintenance
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest value Snowflake provides is how it removes the 'heavy lifting' of data management. The UI (Snowsight) is incredibly intuitive features like the Performance Explorer and built-in Worksheets mean I rarely have to leave the browser to get meaningful work done.
From a Performance standpoint, the separation of compute and storage is a game-changer; I can run heavy ELT processes without ever lagging our BI dashboards. We’ve also seen a massive boost in AI/Intelligence workflows thanks to Cortex AI and Snowpark, which allow us to run LLM functions and Python logic directly on our data without the security risk of moving it to external servers.
The Integrations are seamless, particularly the Data Marketplace, which has saved us weeks of engineering time by allowing us to 'mount' third-party data instead of building custom APIs. While the Pricing model requires some oversight, the ROI is clear: we’ve replaced three legacy tools with one platform, and the Auto-budgeting features keep costs predictable. Finally, the Onboarding experience was surprisingly smooth; the documentation is so thorough that we rarely need to contact Support, but when we do, they are fast and technically sharp

What do you dislike about the product?
The main challenge I would say is the consumption-based pricing model, which can lead to unpredictable costs if you aren’t extremely diligent with resource monitors and auto-suspend settings. It's very easy for a developer to accidentally leave a large warehouse running or write an unoptimized query that eats up credits faster than expected. Nothing else comes to the mind for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Snowflake solves for me is infrastructure friction. I used to spend way too much time worrying about whether a large query would crash a dashboard or if I had enough 'room' to run a heavy data load. Snowflake handles all that scaling in the background, which lets me move straight to the actual analysis.
It’s also solved the headache of data movement. Between the Marketplace and simple data sharing, I’m no longer building and fixing broken pipelines just to get external data into my environment. For me, the benefit is simple: speed. I can go from a raw dataset to a clean, usable model in a fraction of the time it used to take, simply because the platform stays out of my way and lets me work in whatever language like SQL or Python makes the most sense for the task at hand.

ETL, data transformation, Centralized Management
Snowflake Makes Scaling and Fast Queries Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake’s standout feature is the way it separates storage from compute, which makes scaling both straightforward and efficient. Query performance stays fast even when working with large datasets, and the UI is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. It also integrates smoothly with other tools, which helps streamline data workflows and cuts down on the effort needed for infrastructure management.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Snowflake is that costs can rise quickly if usage isn’t monitored closely. The pricing model can also feel a bit complex to understand at first. In addition, there’s a learning curve for new users, especially when it comes to optimizing queries and managing warehouses efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake helps us manage and analyze large volumes of data efficiently without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. We can scale resources up or down on demand and run multiple workloads in parallel without running into performance issues. As a result, our data processing is faster, maintenance takes less effort, and we’re able to make quicker, data-driven decisions.
