Snaplogic - Intelligent Integration Platform For Seamless Data Integrations And Transformations
What do you like best about the product?
I like mostly the seamless data integration of the data and easy to apply transformation logic based on our custom needs.
There are numerous drag-and-drop snaps available to use suitable as per our requirement e.g Redshift Execute, S3 File Read, etc.
It is relatively easy to understand and implement our ETL pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though there are numerous features and useability of Snaplogic IIP, but at the same time there certain points which I dislike at times :
- Snaplex Server Malfunctioning for Long Running pipelines.
- Frequent failures of Redshift Execute snap due to Connection Lost
- Sometimes it is hard to get the Root Cause of failures of pipelines from the error logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP) to build our custom ETL pipelines based on our client's business requirements for seamless Data Integration and robust transformations.
It is very helpful in terms of creating components to work with Ingesting File Data from Amazon S3 buckets to Redshift with minimal efforts thanks to all the easy-to-use snaps components available to complete the tasks.
With the other tools that we had been using, we were facing challenges in building complex Flow of pipelines and were hard to understand the flow of data. But, with Snaplogic it is now easier to understand and implement complex business requirements pipeline.
Bit of a learning cruve but useful

Review for Snaplogic
What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic is very easy to use as the UI is great if you want to make datapipelines which are API based
What do you dislike about the product?
its only for very technical audience so anyone who does not have a developer background it would be hard for them to use

Review Of Platform Training
What do you like best about the product?
Tool is easy to use and get used to.
Has a great dashboard for monitoring
Lots of snaps that are easy to find.

What do you dislike about the product?
a bit buggy at times. when i work in designer it can have issues that are only resolved with a refresh
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy API integeration and Integrations into popular Enterprise tools such as SNOW and Box. We use those tools now and our current ETL tools dont have a simple method to integrate with them
Snaplogic- A worthy iPaaS
What do you like best about the product?
Cost to performance ratio, comparatively easy to develop and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Internal conversion of datastructure to JSON which is not the best choice as part of all the usecases. Transformation capabilities could have been better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A common company wide integration tool which is easier to develop and maintain. Usecases covers the cloud to ground, ground to ground, ground to cloud and cloud to cloud real time and scheduled usecases.
Provides ease of use, but it needs more AI capabilities
What is our primary use case?
We use SnapLogic to connect APIs for effectively transferring and integrating data across multiple systems.
What is most valuable?
The product is easy to use and has many connectivity options.
What needs improvement?
They should expand in terms of features for SaaS-based market requirements in different sectors similar to Dell Bumi, AbLogic, Azure, Google, Oracle, etc. There could be more AI capabilities included in the product.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I haven't come across any downtime issues.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The product is scalable as per customers' infrastructure requirements.
How was the initial setup?
The user interface is friendly for initial setup. It is a low-code and very intuitive platform.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The license model is based on consumption. They charge for the number of connectors.
What other advice do I have?
I rate SnapLogic a six out of ten. If you have a cloud-based business requirement, you should go for it. But, if your business requires multiple integration tooling, look for other options.
Recommendation

A single, unified platform for all enterprise integration projects: application integration, data integration, API management, B2B integration, data engineering
A simple, intuitive, self-service interface together with a powerful, scalable, enterprise-grade platform
Powerful, breakthrough AI capabilities to accelerate productivity and time to value
What do you dislike about the product?
SnapLogic has trouble connecting to certain external sources that it has specific snaps for which is frustrating.
SnapLogic has a hard time abstracting out complex pipelines in order to reuse them without having to copy and paste.

A single, unified platform for all enterprise integration projects: application integration, data integration, API management, B2B integration, data engineering
A simple, intuitive, self-service interface together with a powerful, scalable, enterprise-grade platform

It has been an easy integration tool, however with fewer support on underlying failures or issues
What do you like best about the product?
It is a simple drag and drop integration with a simple idea of your business flow managed by the pieces of snap within to facilitate your desirability.
An easy management and monitoring of your servers w.r.t to the Memory , CPU and running processes , which has further helped understand the issue on own with quicker tracing and debugging .
The metrics and graph to outline the usage and understand what could be cut off from the usage and what needs to be added to cater the futuristic needs ,especially when integrating a growing architecture
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the issues I have constantly raising in terms of some memory issue within the snaps, forcing a frequent manual restarts of our groundplex without even much to use on these servers.
It is sometimes faster to try and see what works best before you could get the right person from the Snaplogic to explain or understand the growing use of your functionility .
A frequent forced release even if you have a stable system integrated with the previous release and do not want to upgrade , with an added testing and evaluation to be put in terms of your resources is another of its downsides that i experienced in my usages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it as an integration component
Recommendations to others considering the product:
