Useful but needs improvements

  • November 20, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- The fact that it can be used for funnel and flows and can be used by users who are not that familiar with SQL
What do you dislike about the product?
- Doesnot suit my use case as my SQL queries are a mix of both front end event along with backend table so never got a chance to full fledgly use houseware
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I'm not able to get the benefits out of houseware much because like I said that my work requires backend information like how many players and responses were there in any game which is absent from Houseware right now

Feature Flag - Move Faster by taking risk

  • July 06, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly is mostly used for feature flag implementation for high-visible / priority projects. It enables us to move faster without worrying about the risk on Production. It is a handy tool for Server side implementation, and the team does not have to redeploy the code to turn the feature flag on or off. It can schedule the feature flag or enable access for only a few users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It stores essential secret key info, which might be visible on the client side and can be a security concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature flag management - No need to redeploy the application code.
Continuous releases to PROD without taking much risk for the end user.

Reviewing LaunchDarkly

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it enables faster development through easy toggling of features. The speed at which flag toggles propagate is close to magic!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that makes LaunchDarkly hard to use is their UI has some sections that are not clearly intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to do dark deployments to production and then releasing at our leisure instead of having to conform to arbitrary release dates.

LaunchDarkly - A powerful feature flagging system.

  • April 21, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
launchDarkly is a powerful feature flagging tool that help us release a new feature to a few users and segments thereby reducing the need for downtime and ensuring feature is release bug-free
What do you dislike about the product?
LaunchDarkly setup is very tedious and learning to use launch darkly can be difficult for new users. The tool is quite expensive for medium-level organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LaunchDarkly helps us to release a feature only for some roles, thereby helping us to test the feature before enabling it for all the customers. Its schedule feature helps us to launch features at different times without any manual intervension

Great feature flagging, lackluster UX and frustrating plan structure

  • May 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly's feature flagging is robust, easy to use, and available on most modern platforms. Their system has proven to be reliable and meets our recurring needs for controlling feature rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
-Web app UX is not great. Example: good luck finding clone flag
-Plan structure withholds table stakes features from non-enterprise orgs
-Flutter SDK gets no attention
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Feature rollout and rollback
-Targeting features to specific segments of users

    Or I.

Pretty good for feature flags and ab testing

  • May 24, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to relase features with the guarantee of safety from production failure, and the ability to revert changes. I also like you can match users by name, in a pattern.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the naming of groups - "segments", it's unclear to me. Plus, I would like the interface to have dark option. Also, I think some of the advanced feature (like targeting) are not very clear from the get go. At the start, I thought that a flag is always "targeting" the selected users, if its on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can release features for production with a safety net, show qa and designers the things I've done in real prod env and not in pre prod, and I can rollback changes

Good but expensive for basic use cases

  • February 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Very Easy To Use
- Good Feature Set
- Support is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
- Very expensive for basic use cases like only feature flags
- being a saas solution, we can't use it in on-prem deployments of our solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- deploying preview feature on production without worrying
- enable and disable features on account basis rather than on all users at once

IT admin managing users via sso

  • October 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SSO implementation is okta was easy. Straightforward and support to assist when needed. SCIM provisioning is extremely important so there are less manual tasks during on and off boarding of users
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more flexible and easy plan upgrades and downgrades would make the problem of running out of seats less of a problem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an easy system for multiple users to set up different features and test options has been easy and effective.
