Domo gets it done
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful visualizations and drill paths. Workbench and data pushing are simple. Easy to create new cards.
Looking forward to digging into apps more. Excited for embed feature.

What do you dislike about the product?
I need to have multiple cards to handle a dynamic drill path. It would be nice to have options to drill a few different ways on the same card. For example, I have a card that show units, but I want to drill three different ways - by location, by employee, and by month.
Also, the forecast value option is slow, taking 8 to 9 seconds to load. So we end up handling that in our data on the back end. It would be nice if that were faster so we didn't have to handle that on our side.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashboard tools for our customers and unlike anything in our industry, giving us an edge. We just had a demo with a potential customer who said the largest competitor in our space was telling him this wasn't possible. He said you have and I want to start with you guys now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes a while to get your arms around. For us, we gave too much away to other departments, putting the responsibility on them to build their own cards, etc. We had to determine which Domo roles made the most sense to have in which departments (data, card building, etc.).
Rely on it daily. Salesforce is ineffective without it.

Participants, users, and sharing cards with external users.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to implement. It requires too much specialized knowledge.

Since I am a newbie, it is not the easiest to get help for the beginner level.

To track the customer acceptance, to track production schedule and to compare product availability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Establish the primary goals for the project. It is ok to have many dashboards until you can nail down to the meaningful one. DOMO allows easy development and many app stores.

learning curve but still good - took a little to learn - and answer business questions - would like to have had templates

automatic, no full days of pulling data on Tuesdays with no time to analyze the data. Now we have time to analyze.

Need P&L with comparisons, need to have a better table or have Beastmodes in SUMO

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to quickly create and change cards. We have our data at our fingertips and are able to support the finance and sales organizations much more quickly than we've ever been able to do before.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that it seems like have taken a long time to improve (i.e. Beast Mode codes would be much better if they more closely aligned with Excel formulas)

We are able to provide up-to-date results to our sales and finance leadership

DOMO is a great tool for helping narrow the focus on where it truly needs to be.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of compiling data from multiple sources and the capabilities visually displaying these multiple points of data in a single app. Great customer support and mobile app. The possibilities of data analytics is endless with Domo.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time I can't really say I dislike anything from this software our on boarding was a bit difficult because we used a 3rd party consultant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting all the information compiled in a single location regardless of where the data is stored and then being able to combine the data has made us realized where are the missing gaps of our organization

Don't start until you take the governance training. This will give you want you need to keep everything organized
