Domo Review
What do you like best about the product?
Domo's Buzz Feed feature is different than other business intelligence platforms. You can interact with other colleagues and easily discuss business data while referring to specific visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The basic visuals are not super eyecatching, but the data is easy to read and expresses the outcome of the data easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Financial data with KPI alerts. It is easy to make separate tiers for various groups and organization so that only the right department is viewing the necessary data.

the buzz to discuss cards and charts, the alert system to get emails.

the chart is not that good looking, can be improved

financial problems. easy to look at in the phone, but not sure if we are going to create app.
Domo is great and easy to implement

I love the high number of custom connectors that enable businesses to create a single ecosystem for data from all applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Pain points I had have been resolved through enhancements. Domo keeps improvements coming regularly.

We are bring real time data using Senior Mgmt in the form that they choose; scheduled email, thru phone or the application itself

Get a feel for the product. Know what you want to achieve before purchasing

That all of our reporting is in one place

A little clunky to set up and get off the ground but once we were running it was worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full campaign analysis in one dashboard. we were using separate systems to report on various aspects of a campaign and now we can do it in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how charts are automatically updated and available. Very easy to get data quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am a proces engineer. And each day at Domopalooza I have heard "why are you hear?" I see the advantages of using DOMO is a process environment. But I don't like that there are no charts that support this. A simple chart is an SPC (Statistical Process Control) chart. Adding this to the available charts would greatly enable engineers and open up a whole new demographic that DOMO doesn't seem to have reached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding yield issues in line automatically. I can see or get alerted when yields are starting to drop.

What do you like best about the product?
The number of ways to customize data and the ease of creating similar cards
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to filter cards on a dashboard by selecting another card on the dashboard

Having an easily consumed single source of truth. We have given our Branch Managers an easy picture of their world.

the visulaization is amaing when you get the card to be great

it takes a lot to get the data the way you want.

Great charts and interfacing
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to use multiple chart types and the information being displayed easily.

Almost feel like you have to be a coder and know SQL in order to use the product.

This is a great product for both small sizes companies and medium-big.
it allows you to quickly create scorecards and graphs, users without any IT background can use it with no training.

Domo is lacking on security. There are only 4-5 roles to choose from and you cannot go beyond that. As a conseguence people will have just read only permission (which defeat the self service...) or will have pretty much 100% update permissions. Data governance is the main issue from my prospective,.

Great data visualization tool, easy to pull data together in few minutes
