The ease of use. We had out first dashboards up in just a month. The support is top notch and able to answer all of our questions.

The start up training is very thin and we struggles in the beginning

Providing a consistent view of the data across our enterprise.
First time at Domopalooza
What do you like best about the product?
Probably Beast Mode and Magic ETL. The ability to create new logic to existing data and combine different tables that would be difficult in SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I just can't get the cards to do what I want. It may be something that would worked out with training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where are our leads coming from. What works and what doesn't work. What are our best ROI. What are sales vs budgets.
Magical Data Exporter
What do you like best about the product?
Being creative about correlations and testing my theories by pulling information from various data sources. It is a great way to investigate your hunches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Figuring out how to feed all the data into Domo. Sometimes the behind the scenes work that needs to be done is difficult, but it's worth it in the end. The difficulty comes in when you don't have access or authority to make the decisions that you need in order to get the card you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
correlations between students who work on campus and students who have jobs at graduation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get analytical people involved because they will help you to think of various ways to utilize the data that you already have and also think of new data that you may want to capture in the future. If you have people making these decisions who are not strong in those areas, you won't maximize the benefits of Domo. That's most important above everything else.

It seems to be an easy tool and very interactive with database excel and etc.

Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like Domo because I can connect all my different data through APIs to it. I use this a lot to pull in data from different tools, and blend it together. There are a lot of different connectors, and the majority of applications we use plug in well. I would highly recommend Domo as a BI tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike when the fields I'm using for different programs don't line up, and I end up having to search for which fields actually match. This is more of a consistency error on our end as a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Sales and Marketing teams really enjoy the cards we are able to put together for them. We show everything from leaderboads, to trending, to user stats. We have been able to make it easier for our Marketing and Sales counterparts to pull together sleek reports on the fly, by creating cards that they love on a platform that makes it easy for them to export right into their presentations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great platform to allow users to bring data together without having a data warehouse team. The reports are sleek and the ease of use is really high.

The apps provide multi-variate visualization capabilities to allow decisions to be made across multiple decision criteria in a single location.

App development and customization require coding skills, not yet plug and play

It's intelligent and flexible and way powerful...the sky is the limit, but you don't have to jump out of a plane to make it perform.

I want to learn faster and have all the data I want and need at my fingertips.
