Powerful Tool For Marketers
What do you like best about the product?
There are a few things that are great about this product for marketers.
1) It enables you to remove some of the heavy tags from the client-side and instead, fire those serverside
2) The management of the data that you collect is extremely easy and robust
3) The tool is flexible enough to do almost anything you want

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more native integrations. I also wish they had a secure API endpoint to which we could send our data from external sources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are taking heavy tags from the client-side and moving them server side. We are also collecting all of our event-level data and replicating it out our own databases for analysis and reporting.
Great tracking of consumer trends
What do you like best about the product?
Tealium helps us track consumer behavior on our website. Gives clear insights into how many users just browse the site, register, login, add items to cart, checkout and convert to sale or drop out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have had nothing to complain about so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By analyzing how many customers dropped out at which step of the order flow, we've taken measures to improve our conversion rate

Get it. You won't be disappointed.
A potentially powerful tool but the learning curve is extremely steep
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about the tool is the capability to stitch user data to get a fuller picture of each individual user rather than a segment. From that we're able to create attributes and badges to place people within a segment to have an action trigger in hopes of a successful event.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is extremely steep and technical. As every company has different needs, we are still trying to find the optimal use and connectors for Tealium .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to better understand our audience; how they engage with our platforms or consume or content so that we can better feed relevant ads to them in hopes of being more efficient and effective with our ad spend.
loading rules can become confusing
What do you like best about the product?
attribute creation is east and loading rule creation is easy
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to see how different attributes are connected or flow into each other, especially when you have spent time in audience stream recently

visitorid stitching and assigning values to users
Our transition from Adobe Tag Manager to Tealium has been challenging.
What do you like best about the product?
The support team has been pretty responsive and very friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've tried to transition our Google tag multiple times and things haven't gone smoothly so after about 4 months trying we're still using our old tag management solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our current tag management solution is going away so we needed to find another solution. Tealium has been helpful for some of our out of the box tags, just anything custom has been challenging.
Good for creating audiences that are more robust than a DMP

The biggest issue we have found so far is the inability for Tealium to use geolocation in consent manager

the biggest issue we are trying to solve is the performance issues created by so many tags firing on the site
Based Tag management solution
What do you like best about the product?
One of the leading and best tag management solution available in the market. It is very easy to setup tags and activate. It has an excellent GUI which makes it easier to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better handling of multiple environments if possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tag management for our website. Integration is very simple and easy.

If your organization is looking for a tag management solution, go with Tealium iQ, the best in the market.
Advanced audience segmentation capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to set up audience enrichment and segments within the platform. There are many connectors with other platforms to facilitate flow of data without engineering required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any particular dislikes for the platform
