Streamlined, Consistent Data Inputs for Every Consumer
What do you like best about the product?
Streamline our data input source and keep it consistent for different consumers. Collect the data once in various platforms (web, mobile, app) and stream to different endpoints
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not very business person friendly. The engineering team and I have to get involved in every request. This sometimes causes a friction in timelines
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customer data is fragmented across different sources. Tealium solves this by collecting data from all touch points. In the future we plan to action this data in real time user personalization.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to seamlessly create attributes that we can use downstream in our data warehouse (Databricks) for further transformations and analysis. The UI is also really intuitive and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost was hard to get buy in for and the learning curve is high for non-technical people. The documentation could be improved - I found myself asking AI questions a lot that couldn't be answered by Tealium's own documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tag management - triggering events and enriching with attributes that we send downstream to our central data warehouse for querying and analytics. Consent management - we integrate our consent platform with Tealium for deploying on the website and ability to turn on and off which events we want to fire based on consent.
Feature-Rich and Flexible, but Expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Very flexible with what can be done in the system. There are a ton of features which means many use cases have been thought through. There are also lots of integrations, so there is likely native support for many services. Customer Support is great - they are responsive and help me solve issues when I get stuck
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive - the cost of Tealium is prohibitive for smaller companies who may need some of the features for legal reasons; learning curve is steep and requires a lot of technical knowledge for coding. Need to use the service in order to get access to training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to have a privacy-forward system that is HIPAA compliant. Tealium has a system that is great for helping us customize our website data collection. I have lots of options for controlling what is collected, making sure our data isn't going to systems outside of our locus of control.
Powerful Real-Time Customer Data Activation, but Setup and Maintenance Are Complex
What do you like best about the product?
Its ability to unify and activate customer data in real time across channels without heavy engineering overhead. Executive support and response time when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of setup and ongoing maintenance can be high, especially for teams without strong technical expertise. Also customer support response and knowledge
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps centralize and standardize marketing tagging across our digital properties, reducing inconsistencies and data gaps while making it easier to deploy and manage tracking without constant engineering support—ultimately improving data accuracy and speeding up campaign execution.

Love using the connectors especially like the one to Snapchat Ads! I use Tealium every few days to improve our data sharing and improve our ads and marketing

More actions to connect to marketplaces! Would love to see Tealium build out more agentic connections to different platform sto activate our marketing.

TiQ and Audience Stream: Loving the Experience So Far
What do you like best about the product?
TiQ and Audience Stream. Customer Support is great. This helped removing the GTM and the website traffic is directly fed into Tealium. IVA data and data orchestration is cool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as yet. We took almost 18 months to started Tealium in its capacity. We are more to do with Tealium and so it is bit early to say as what is my dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
website traffic, market data, HCP data all were in different places. Tealium helps to collect all, orchestrate it and create audiences. This tool is going to be a game changer in our orgainzation.
User-Friendly with Powerful AI, Needs Integration Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I find Tealium Customer Data Hub to be very user-friendly, not too hard for a first-timer. The AI assistance is top-notch, which I must acknowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improvement should be done on the profile uploading, it takes much time. I faced integration challenges with Tealium being similar to HubSpot. We encountered a bit of glitch setting it up. Tealium has many tools, and it was more of a choice problem.

Powerful Real-Time Data Unification, Challenging Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the real-time unification and activation power with Tealium Customer Data Hub, and it's the number one feature for me. The combination of AudienceStream and EventStream is genuinely strong, allowing me to create and activate sophisticated audiences in real time. This capability is a game-changer for personalization and retargeting effectiveness. I also like the broad connector library, which is a major reason we chose Tealium over other alternatives. AudienceStream and EventStream work together as a powerful one-two punch; EventStream handles data collection and processing, and AudienceStream turns raw data into actionable customer profiles and real-time decisions. EventStream is great for reliable, high-volume data collection and server-side power, collecting events from various sources and then transforming, enriching, and routing them in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is by far the biggest hurdle. Even with prior experience in tag management and some technical background on the team, getting everything configured correctly took us months. Defining attributes, building rules in AudienceStream, setting up transformations in EventStream, and mapping connectors isn't intuitive if you're not already comfortable with data layers, JSON, and complex logic. New team members still need significant training and hand-holding. It feels more like a developer-oriented platform than a marketer-friendly one in many areas. If your team lacks dedicated technical resources, this can slow adoption dramatically.

Tealium Customer Data Hub unifies our fragmented customer data, creating single profiles and reducing 'unknown' users. It provides real-time data activation for better personalization, crucial for our marketing campaigns.
