What do you dislike about the product?
While Base64.ai is a powerhouse in data extraction, I believe the user interface could be more welcoming. Navigating through its features and settings can be daunting for newcomers. A more intuitive design, perhaps with guided tutorials or a simplified dashboard, could make a big difference. Also, while the accuracy is generally impressive, occasional glitches with handwriting recognition are areas where I'd love to see enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining Data Management: Before Base64.ai, the manual process of extracting data from various documents was time-consuming and prone to errors. Base64.ai automates this task, rapidly pulling information from IDs, invoices, forms, and more. This has dramatically reduced the time I spend on data entry, allowing me to focus on more strategic tasks.

Great Software to Quickly Extract data from any type of file and create a usable, readable data set

The ease of use. For one off documents they can simply be uploaded and a great usable response is quickly generated. Whether this is a facial recognition comparison, verifying an ID or form.
But even more than that, the software can seamlessly integrate into any frontend or backend system to quickly get applications into production.

I have not come across any downsides to the product. The extraction, ocr and dataset generation are really great.

It is allowing us to quickly process client forms, documents and datasets to create reports and action items.

offer is really massive but it's not really a downside as base64.AI's team has been there to guide us into what would be the most useful for our usecase

I used for my personal project and I loved it. I searched lots of method and tool. Finally I find Base64.ai. It returns much better results and accuracy than tools which I tried for ID cards.

Old user interface, not much free credits. That's all

Converting data from different formats and some Integration barriers.
Very helpful tool, with a lot of abilities to customize and adopt in order to overcome any problem.

Complex solutions require an added engineering side in order to be created.

Accuracy of extracted data and quantity of understood data is outstanding.

The ML model isn't the best and the UI looks a bit outdated

Document understanding and document validation against a request form. Approvers don't have to check document manually.

We extracted data from passports/ID cards, and it worked great. We also used it to answer the question "What is this document about", and we are okay with the results too.

We tried for license plate recognition, and though the OCR part was great, there were some false positives, but I think I can forgive them since object detection is not the core of their product.
