Best overall software in its class.
What do you like best about the product?
The latest version of MFT is the most robust version to date. Linoma is constantly making enhancements to meet the demanding security challenges. The support staff is by far one of the best in the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
None we absolutely love the product. It just runs and we never had an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated reporting with file translation. Secure file transfer to our remote sties

What do you like best about the product?
Everything... there is no one thing that I like better or worse within the package... it's just a great tool. and the support is awesome too.

anything that has to be sent or received via Iseries, even using the remote log in feature.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it does it all, it is highly user friendly, the new drag and drop feature make creating a new project even easier.

The Goanywhere MFT is super easy and flexible. Able to create and test brand new file transfers in a couple of hours.

i like all all the features especially securing the file and email also Go drive features

Reliable File Exchange Product
What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere is a reliable no-nonsense product, relatively easy to setup and great for unattended operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up a new project can be intimidating, need professional services to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to send encrypted files files over SFTP in an automated way. We also have to exchange files with partners. All these tasks are done with practically no administration overhead.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to write your own code to manipulate the process to suit your needs!
What do you dislike about the product?
The web GUI could be designed to be a little more user friendly. Don't get me wrong the GUI does work as designed it's just got some layout/design I would like see changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We perform all our file transfers internal and external with GoAnywehere. we extensively use the software for email notifications, text messaging and phone calls. We also use it to run datawarehouse jobs.

GoAnywhere makes changes from the vendor simple to implement - vs coding in a CL.

That all of our MFT communications are not yet in GoAnywhere MFT.

Ability to perform variations of MFT which we have not attempted prior to GoAnywhere MFT.
Ease of maintenance going forward and easy reporting of Success/Failure. And the ease of emailing those results.

Get it, use it. It does anything we need it to and more.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the Application to meet the ever changing needs of the Company. Being able to set up secure connections to Business Partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually Nothing - The features being utilized fit the needs of the Company.

1) Being able to create Monitor Jobs to handle on demand Data Transfers to different Business Partners.
2) Utilizing GAW Services to allow Business Partners to Upload Data via SFTP and Create Trigger Events to process the data upon a successful upload.
3) Retrieving/Uploading Encrypted Data to and from Business Partners.

The GAW MFT Software has met the needs of DXLG in regards to being able to Transfer Data internally as well as to/from our Business Partners.

The ease of use and by far the bang for the buck

additional training materials on advanced features would be very helpful

Manual processes are now automated through scripting. File monitoring for business transactions, SQL queries, etc...
Solid software
What do you like best about the product?
The product is forever growing and getting better. We have used this product since before it became GoAnywhere (used to be TransferAnywhere way, way back). Looking forward to possibly replacing GlobalSCAPE for the WIntel side of the house. Product support is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike. I have not run into any negatives with this product. I seriously can't think of anything that we have run into that makes me dislike the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not really solving any problems with it. We have been running this product so long (like I said, since it was TransferAnywhere and years working with that before GoAnywhere came along) that I couldn't tell you what problem we had that this solved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can't think of a better solution out the for the IBM i platform and, it appears with the latest updates, that it could be really beneficial in the WIntel world.

Easy to deploy, easy to use, great value for what it can do.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about this product. Any problems I have encounted have been quickly resolved by the support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have many processes to move files from one system to be injested by another system. We are also using go anywhere to allow us to safely and securely transfer files in and out of PCI environments
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go anywhere can be used for so many things, with some patience and creativity, you can replace any other file transfer and update process with GoAnywhere.
