What do you like best about the product?
A standout feature is its seamless link with geographic systems—tying documents to real-world locations for smarter planning. OnBase also streamlines secure e-signing {no printing/scanning required} and keeps our database neat, compliant and effortlessly aligned with internal standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs periodic tune-ups—like query optimization, component refreshes or storage checks—to stay quick, reliable and free of those little “hiccups.”
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing information is faster—and secure. Every version and change in OnBase is logged, strengthening trust in document management; by sharing the same up-to-date source, collaboration between departments feels smoother and more natural.

In its current form, Full-Text Indexing.

What do you like best about the product?
OnBase is able to store all of our information and streamline a lot of our business processes. It is very customizable and is able to handle a myriad of situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is pretty steep with getting everything setup with documents and workflows. Hyland does provide ample training to help with this though

Invoice collection and processing, document retention

What do you like best about the product?
It's the most robust platform of its kind on the market with the most powerful workflow engine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Client disparity, it took a long time to get to this modern look / platform you have now. I endured years of "this seems old."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We find ourselves creating solutions to round out other systems that don't have an answer for the need. We call it the Swiss Army knife platform because we can do just about anything.

I'm the manager of the team that supports the OnBase Team. It seems to be easy for them to administer and provide value to the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hear some complaints from our users occasionally about speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it for processing invoices in AP

What do you like best about the product?
OnBase makes content management a breeze. Our end users love the simplicity of the system and the admins find it easy to configure. Hyland's support is wonderful and always quick to respond to any needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each additional module requires a separate installation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OnBase is used for employee records management, AP and AR approvals as well as enterprise document management

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to do so much more than just organize documents. Able to create workflows for tasks associated with documents. Put out policies for staff to review and acknowledge and so much more/

Costs continue to climb when nothing about our setup has changed.

OnBase is where the "document of record" is stored and has retention assigned to it. As well as having processes that interact with the documents
