OnBase in HigherEd
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience has been great. We use OnBase as our student record, which has made retrievals so much quicker. While still occuring, the use of workflows has also helped automation of processing greatly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations don't always work as intended or stop altogether. We do have a great UIS support team though, to help through these issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Removing PDF form usage and hard copy documents.
OnBase allows easy and accessible content management
What do you like best about the product?
If you can dream it, you can probably do it in OnBase. The freedom to create complex solutions that can be presented to end users in accessible ways allows unique processes and document transportation to meet your institutions unique needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
OnBase does require a level of curiosity or education that requires about a year before one can start feeling comfortable administrating with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OnBase allows for finanical record retention.

I love the wealth of knowledge that is easy to access when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't care for the old thick client and wish there was a more updated look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automations. I'm looking forward to implementing new automations in our future to assist with efficiency.
intuitive process for new users
What do you like best about the product?
I started using OnBase less than 12 months ago, and between it's intuitive look/feel, helpful search library and Hyland University courses, I have been able to navigate and create new processes for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unity forms are not available in Thick client
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
no longer storing physical documents and allowing retention policies to be implemented to purge old documents.
Amazing Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
My success manager and team have been amazing. Very personable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It have be a little tough to navigate and pricing can be a little high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a repository for all our documents and it makes it easy to go to one location to find information.

Using OnBase has never been easier. I love helping others use OnBase.

The are very few things I don't like about OnBase.

OnBase is helping my organization automate processes and store documents.

So powerful and so much potential. It's easy to create various workqueues

Admin side of onbase can be difficult with all the checkboxes options that aren't that intuitively named/grouped. Using the guide is a must

The convenience of having the entire process centralized, making it easy to locate.

The development process was extremely long and drawn out.
