Straightforward Interface with Exceptional Support
What do you like best about the product?
I find Conductor easy to use with a straightforward interface. There's also a lot of support from the Conductor team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Conductor can improve automation of creating reports and workspaces. The initial setup was time-consuming, even though straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Conductor for keyword research, competitor analysis, and AI share of voice measurement. It helps us measure visibility in AI search engines and understand how we are doing compared to competitors.
Rich Data and Actionable Training, But Navigation Can Be Tricky
What do you like best about the product?
There is so much data to use and the trainings give you actionable tips on how to use that data. The optimization briefs seem to be really valuable information.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to find some of the information you're looking for, since there are so many features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining a lot of data all in once place, and giving reports and actionable insights.
Longtime User, First Time Reviewer
What do you like best about the product?
The team at Conductor is always willing to take user feedback and improve the product. That's a level of customer support I feel is rare. All of the Customer Success Managers I have worked with over the years are supportive and understanding and seek to use the user experience to deliver changes that make the tools easier to use and more intuitive. The software is great, but the people behind it are better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve behind some of the reporting functionality can be steep compared to other similar tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor is helping us adapt to a changing search landscape that features more AEO every day. The team has an impressive AEO strategy roadmap.

Solid Tool with Great Support, But Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Conductor centralizes all our SEO and content activity across multiple departments, which allows us to track and monitor both traditional keywords and AI prompts. The automated reports and widgets are incredibly useful as they allow customization in both reports and workspaces, enhancing efficiency and data analysis. Additionally, the support offered is a significant factor that would influence my decision to purchase the tool again, indicating their responsive and reliable customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Conductor to have a steep learning curve, which makes it challenging for new users to get started. The process of performing some tasks is clunky and not user-friendly. For instance, exporting keywords requires navigating to the upload keywords section and going through several steps to find the download button, which feels unnecessarily complicated. I also find it difficult to build and configure workspaces within the software. Additionally, I would prefer if it were easier to create shortcuts for more complex processes to streamline workflow.

Explorer Tool Shines, But Needs Better Seasonal Insights and Ranking Alerts
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Conductor is the Explorer tool. I use it almost daily. Being able to see the search volume, competition and releated search terms of a certain topic is invaluable to planning content. It's very easy to use the explorer tool too so onboarding new employees is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search volume is averaged over a 12 month period; that's not particular helpful for seasonal content. It'd be good to know what search volume something like 'winter coats' gets in the three winter months as opposed to year long. I also find it hard to keep track of what stories are ranking and not ranking - if Conductor could send email updates when a story falls a rank, that'd be extremely useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have page view targets that need to be met, and by using Conductor's explorer tool, I can ensure we're writing content with high search volume which in turn will help us hit those page view targets.
Exceptional UX and Support, But Missing Key URL Comparison Feature
What do you like best about the product?
Conductor is a robust platform that clearly prioritizes UX and UI. The way they present data makes it straightforward to interpret and easy to share with colleagues who may not have a technical background, eliminating the need for extra formatting. It's evident that the team made smart choices early on to embrace the AI evolution in SEO, as shown by how rapidly they've introduced impressive measurement tools for AIO. It also feels like they are constantly rolling out new features, sometimes as often as every week. On top of that, their support staff are extremely knowledgeable and always go the extra mile for my company. With Conductor, it genuinely feels like I've added another member to my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major drawback is that they do not offer the option to compare URLs directly against each other, a feature I found particularly valuable in their competitor's tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor provides a window into how we're performing in all methods of search. It is also helping my colleagues that are not well-versed in SEO write optimized content for different topics on our website with the new AI writing assistant tool.
Intuitive and User-Friendly, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is sooooo much more impressive in Conductor vs other platforms for businesses trying to get into AIO and Chatgpt citations. I was blown away by Conductor's AI Search Performance section!
What do you dislike about the product?
Just if it was possible to do the AI Search Performance part as a standalone, because total price tag is pretty hefty even for mid-sized businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to get placed in AIO results on Google and ChatGPT. This tool has helped us craft our editorial pipeline to get there!
A toolkit for success for publishers and media
What do you like best about the product?
It makes creating SEO-optimised content easy. The onboarding training was excellent, and it's empowered me to create high-ranking content that converts. It also helps me to problem solve and think outside the box by analysing keywords, existing-ranked content and using the writing assistant to understand what's more is needed. There's also a focus on producing quality, insightful and helpful content - which in turn makes me a more inquisitive and better writer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the content guidance feature doesn't always work to its best potential but then there are other ways to get around this like using the writing assistant or going back to do more keyword research.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can identify keywords to rank for, figure out what to do to rank for these keywords, and check back to see if content is ranking and what more I need to do to improve it. This results in high web traffic.
Boosts SEO and Rankings, but Localization Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Conductor has been the best tool to increase our rankings on search, improve SEO, and learn how to write better based on AI suggestions. Our support team is amazing as well!

The localized part of the website can be tricky to use at times.

Conductor allows us to write more strategic, compelling content that converts and beats competitors in search rankings.
