Perfect SEO settings and increase visibility
What do you like best about the product?
With this platform we are able to make our homepage better known. The paid SEO keywords are easy to search and we can rely on the tool to get the right keywords assigned.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can happen that translated keywords, as with our bilingual homepage, are not correctly included in the search engines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can make our homepage much more popular with this tool. Since we have been using seo-optimization we get more traffic to our homepage and the business turnover increases.
Increase reach with targeted SEO
What do you like best about the product?
I think the reports are very good and accurate. Thanks to these reports, we can immediately see where there is room for improvement. The tool makes us aware as soon as and where there is something to consider. The meta-recommendations are very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can see that certain analytics data is not included, so unfortunately I still have to use external analytic tools and manage a separate access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can analyze our clicks and views on the homepage and thanks to this tool I can improve the seo settings and therefore the awareness of our brand. Our employees can then adjust content - the suggested keywords are accurate.
Robust SEO platform
What do you like best about the product?
Conductor Searchlight is a nearly complete platform for keyword research, analysis, tracking, and reporting. Containing insights for all things keyword related for SEO. DeepCrawl site analysis provides loads of details and can uncover on-site and technical issues to help a website, so having development support for usage of conductor is highly recommended. The double-edge sword of providing so much detail is that it requires a large amount of internal support to implement changes and recommendations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be almost too complex and cumbersome at times. It would be great to have a high level view on items before directly diving into the details, which means diving into thousands of keywords. Some of the system is basically just the aggregation of other systems (Search Console, Analytics, SEMRush), so the insights given can be gleaned from other places. Cost can be inhibitive for smaller organizations, but you get what you pay for, this is program with many features that cover many different disciplines, so the need for multiple internal users to utilize the software is a likely requirement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used it for keyword rank tracking and content creation, but not much else yet. Trying to make some site improvements based on the DeepCrawl site analysis, but our development resources are limited for our marketing team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you take advantage of monthly account manager calls, and try to get a dedicated resources internally to work within the platform, it literally can be a near full time job depending on the size of the website it is used for. Involvement of multiple teams will likely be necessary as this will cover content, technical, and non-technical website items. Hire a freelancer if you need too!
Be prepared for all the recommendations that will come from use of Conductor, without any follow through, the ROI will never be there.

Truly Comprehensive SEO Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the integrations in Conductor that ensure data from Conductor matches with our tech stack. I really like the competitor research feature because it allows us to quickly see what changes are happening on other websites and how Google responds to them. The reporting is great at showing us impact over time. I also like the chat feature with Conductor. Setting up Conductor was extremely easy and could be done by a small team without any need for technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not support Adobe Analytics very well. It works well with Google Analytics, but as a larger organization that does not use it, we have difficulty with some of the newer features and the Adobe Analytics integration. We also miss the more direct, one-on-one customer success support Conductor offered a few years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor helps us see the impact of content and SEO efforts, identifies technical issues, facilitates competitor research, and shows what users seek, guiding our content creation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to have set up your Google Search Console and Google Analytics to have the most insightful experience with Conductor Searchlight. Take advantage of the marketplace reports if you can!

It gives various teams within the business the ability to review and work on different aspects of the site – whilst monitoring the impact together.

Intuitive Product & Amazing Success Manager
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is so easy to use and provides automated insights to alert us of changes or recommendations. Plus, our account manager, Carol is extremely knowledgeable. entertaining and available when we have 1-off questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a TON to take advantage of within the platform, so you do have to spend some time on the platform to make sure you are taking full advantage of the capabilities.

The Explorer Tool is what I like the most about Conductor Searchlight. It provides relevant keywords to write content to try to rank.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there is no visiblity to backlinks. I'd like to be able to track domains that link back to us within the tool. I have to rely on another tool to get this data.

The problems I am solving with Condutor Searchlight center around keyword research and writing relevant content to our consumers.
Great Experience with a Useful Product
What do you like best about the product?
Conductor is a one-stop shop for all things SEO - content, technical, etc. I can get everything I need from Conductor and the customer service can't be beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have heavily integrated Conductor into my work flow, so it's become second nature. But one thing I would like to build out more for myself is the reporting.

We are often using Conductor to discover how people are talking trends and tracking changes in relation to organic growth.

Excellent Product and Customer Success
What do you like best about the product?
The product is fantastic, but I would say in my opinion what puts Conductor above the rest is how much they care about the success of the client after you purchase the product. I work with several vendors and very few maintain the relationship as well as Conductor does after you purchase the product. We meet with Zack, our SEO success manager, once every two weeks to chat about any product updates and align on any new goals that we have for content creation, optimization, or SEO. This gives us a chance to work together to better understand how Conductor can help achieve those goals.

The marketplace requests allowed you to do a lot more at the beginning, now they are limited on what you can ask for help on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that we are trying to solve using Conductor is content creation and content optimization. I use Conductor to research keywords and also see how our keywords in already created content are performing.

Coming into Conductor Searchlight with minimal SEO experience, Conductor is easy to use, easy to learn, and content help grow your content creation and optimization strategy. It has improved our organic search traffic immensely. I would highly recommend this software!
