Best Open Source Monitoring Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Grafana has the best interface where the users can easily check the dashboards, data sources all at one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing would be the issue with alert triggers and limited functionality on dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grafana is helping my team to identify jenkins instances that is having issues and to analyse the build issue with the dashboard. Also it helps us to understand the node observability for the k8s clusters.

What do you like best about the product?
It is nice that you can export your Dashboard as json. This way you can version them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templated dashboards do not support calculated metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
grafana makes it easy to debug complex Problems. It lets you prepare for a postmortem.
Best UI for maps
What do you like best about the product?
It has a better UI to check stats of various types and multiple types of UI are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes graphs stuck and take time to load the stats.

Grafana provides dashboard which can be used by layman to understand different metrics
Great tool to create curves
What do you like best about the product?
UI is pretty simple and user friendly. You can easily filter and create your own view

I don't really dislike anything, as I say the UI is pretty good

We monitor our memory, cpu usage, number of calls etc... save all that in have nice display using grafana so we can monitor everything and detect problems

Ability to work with SQL and other backends

Only time series. Would be great to be able to display none time series data. Example: asset hierarchy

Need to get your data organized to be able to create reusable templates.

Grafana is great tool for data analysis and to get insights and visualisation for data coming from different sources and this extensive support to lot of data sources makes grafana an outstanding tool
What do you dislike about the product?
Proper customer support is required as option for integration with many data sources is available and this gives rise to multiple problems faced by customer per data source...this would be great help for people with non technical background to integrate with multiple data sources if proper support is provided
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use grafana for visualisation of educational platform related data and this tool is really helpful to get insights for students data i.e. how much time students spends on learning and etc. Other usecases

What do you like best about the product?
The simple interface is the best thing I found in using grafana.

The thing which I dislike is the graphical representation is not so detailed.

Live data at your fingertips
What do you like best about the product?
Our data scientists used Grafana to build the management some very informative dashboards. Without Grafana, we have no visibility of our number of users, cohorts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It' very developer-oriented. Myself, as a CEO, can't really understand how to build stuff on Grafana. Luckily we have talented people that do. But still, would have been nice to be more simple-friendly!

Knowing exactly what's our company status in terms of live data - how many users, how many today, spikes in activities and more.

What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with AWS, SonarQube, and some other tools are very limited
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was looking for a tool that I can use for monitoring the logs of the docker containers running in our development environment. Now we are using Grafana with Loki and Promtail and getting live logs without any delay.

please do test it with poc , it is actually nice and smart to monitor container loads
