What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for many years to store my files, and it significantly benefits me by addressing issues related to storage space and facilitating file transfers. One of the standout features is its capability for file transferring, which I find extremely useful, as it allows me to transfer files between different gadgets with ease. This feature greatly enhances my efficiency and workflow by simplifying the process of moving files from one device to another.

I find setting up Dropbox to be a bit difficult initially, and I'm still getting used to it. I also experience issues when transferring files to Excel from Dropbox, as it sometimes doesn't allow it or isn't easy to do, which could be improved to make it more user-friendly. Additionally, I think the platform's appearance could be improved to make it more organized and easy to use. I would like the ability to view all files in a bird's eye view on one screen, with features for zooming and adjusting font size for better file management.

Simplifies Collaboration with Robust Data Security

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for my work for the past 10 years and I really appreciate its user-friendly setup and synchronization with the local disk. From the beginning, setting up Dropbox was fairly straightforward with no major challenges faced by the IT team, which made the transition seamless. One of the significant advantages of Dropbox is that it reduces the risk of data loss, as all data is stored on the server. This means that even if endpoint devices are lost or replaced, we do not lose our data. I also find the ease of sharing and collaboration to be a standout feature; there's no need to email documents and manually manage versions anymore, as everyone can work on the same copy simultaneously. Additionally, the choice of encryption for stored files enhances security, making me consider purchasing it again in the future. I also value the short learning curve, which ensures that new users can quickly become proficient in using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to reduce the risk of data loss, share files easily, and collaborate effectively. Its server storage means I can replace devices without losing data, and it eliminates the need for emailing documents manually.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Dropbox's very straightforward setup process, making it easy for me to start using the service with minimum hassle. Its ease of use is apparent as I dedicate most usage to providing files to my clients, which has been seamless. I admire the convenience Dropbox offers in sharing files without the worry of potential service downtime, ensuring constant availability. The ability to control who has access to shared files resonates particularly well with me, especially given today's privacy concerns. Additionally, I find it beneficial that Dropbox can connect with mobile devices across my organization, ensuring that files can be accessed easily and efficiently. The platform hosts a significant number of essential files, confirming its reliability and dependability for my business operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be nice to have a dedicated file transfer application for computers. This would allow for transferring larger files in a way that doesn't depend strictly on the web or OS side, thereby being less limited in speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to share files conveniently and securely with clients, ensuring uninterrupted access and tech support, which is crucial for my business.

Dropbox is the best storage app, and offer multiple functionalities really enhancing my productivity

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I am a long-term, Dropbox Plus user, with a paid yearly subscription. I use Dropbox every day, several times a day, across multiple devices, computers, mobile phones, and tablet. The most helpful functions using Dropbox are the ability to automatically backup my computer, as well as the automatic synchronization of my files on Dropbox and my computer, to ensure I never lose any information. Moreover I appreciate the integrated tools such as the ability to sign documents or the Paper application to quickly collaborate by sharing notes and minutes of meeting. The file sharing is also very useful, as is the automatic upload and backup of photos from my mobile devices to Dropbox storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of using Dropbox is that when sharing documents with my team or other people, they need to have a Dropbox account and enough storage allowance, in order to access all functionalities of Dropbox. But not all people are willing to create a Dropbox account, and even less, take a Premium pay membership, especially if they are only occasional users, or just collaborating with me using Dropbox, but otherwise using other Cloud services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is keeping all my documents secured, it backs-up my computer which is a trove of information, and saves all my photos across all my mobile devices automatically. It helps me share documents and files, and increase my ability to collaborate with others, professionally and personally.
