Simple, Stable, and Reliable File Sharing with Dropbox

  • May 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Since my college days, Dropbox has been my go-to application to share files with my colleagues and family. Simple, intuitive, and very stable. The transfer quality is very good as well. Overall, it’s a reliable platform that makes file sharing and cloud storage effortless, both for personal and professional use.
What do you dislike about the product?
One small downside of Dropbox is that the free storage space is a bit more limited compared to some competitors. However, the platform’s stability, ease of use, and reliable synchronization quality still make it a great option for file sharing and cloud storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves a problem that i used to have a lot during college: sharing files quickly and keeping everything accessible in one place. instead of sending multiple versions of the same document or using USB drives, i could simply upload files and share them instantly with classmates and friends. even tday, i still find it very useful because i can access my files anywhere and keep important documents organized and safe

Being able to take photos with my phone and open them on my laptop, maintaining the same resolution. Also, sharing files with my associates at the shop while I am at home working.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ideal for Remote Collaboration and Managing Large Files Efficiently

  • May 11, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s particularly useful for remote collaboration, and it helps manage large design or development files efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan’s storage is fairly limited, and it can start to feel restrictive pretty quickly if you’re an active user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This benefits me by making collaboration faster and more organized, especially when I’m working across different devices or with remote teams. Features like automatic syncing, file recovery, version history, and simple file sharing reduce manual work and help prevent data loss. It also improves my workflow efficiency by giving me quick access to important files from anywhere, so I can stay on track without wasting time searching for the latest version.

Reliable cloud storage with smooth file collaboration

  • May 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is how simple and reliable it is for storing and sharing files. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and syncing across devices works smoothly, which makes it convenient to access my files from anywhere.

I also appreciate the collaboration features, such as shared folders, file links, and version history. Integrations with tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office help streamline workflows, especially when working with teams. Overall, it saves me time and keeps my files organized without requiring much effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Dropbox is that the pricing can feel a bit expensive compared to some alternatives, especially for users who need larger storage plans. The amount of free storage is also somewhat limited, which makes it harder to rely on for long-term use.

I’ve also noticed that syncing can occasionally slow down when it’s handling very large folders or a lot of files at once. And while the interface is generally simple, some of the more advanced sharing and permission settings could be more intuitive and easier for new users to understand and manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has helped solve the challenge of managing and sharing files across multiple devices and among team members. Before using it, keeping documents up to date and sending large files by email felt time-consuming and disorganized. Now everything is stored in one central place, and I can share files instantly using links or shared folders.

It has also improved collaboration and productivity because everyone can access the most recent version without confusion. Features like automatic syncing and version history reduce the risk of losing important work, which saves time and effort in day-to-day workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps solve storage issues on my devices by letting me access my files across multiple devices. It’s especially useful for storing large university documents and keeping everything available when I need it.
