  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's like having a memory stick that's impossible to lose.

I use Dropbox to store those files that I can't live without, and may need access to at any time. My Dropbox stores documents for work, my research files and important photos. The integration on Android and Windows is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier is limited to only 3 devices. It'd be helpful if this was increased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to be able to access my files on multiple industrial sites. The data I work with is sensitive, and removable media is not allowed.
Dropbox stores my files safely and allows me to access them from anywhere in the world.

Vital for Remote Work and Easy Access

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the accessibility of Dropbox, as it allows me to work remotely, which is crucial for my personal circumstances of taking care of my family. The ability to access materials from anywhere with Wi-Fi is vital for my workflow. I appreciate the feature that lets me store material 'online only' and retrieve it quickly when needed, which has been a lifesaver. The synchronization between my devices, like my laptop and desktop, is seamless and requires minimal effort on my part, eliminating the need for 'synching thinking.' The cloud storage capability of Dropbox helps me save space, and the ability to organize 'team' file collections facilitates better collaboration. Having my material backed up off-site and readily available in a simple manner gives me peace of mind, especially knowing it remains affordable. Additionally, I find Dropbox so integral to my work that I recommend it as a non-negotiable part of collaboration with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe be careful with offering 'test' software to volunteers. I did that and ran into a snag or two. Pretty scary when it's material you've created and need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to work remotely by accessing material from any place with Wi-Fi, offers online storage to save space, and ensures my files are synchronized across devices effortlessly. I can also incorporate "team" situations.
