Some syncing issues quickly clutter local hard drives and it takes a long time for pictures to upload.

It helps by not having scattered files, limited device storage and difficult sharing by keeping your documents backed up online.

I like how easy Dropbox makes file storage, syncing, and sharing across devices. It’s simple, reliable, and easy to use.”

Limited free storage and some advanced features being locked behind paid plans.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dropbox solves the problem of storing, syncing, and sharing files across devices without needing a USB drive or manual transfers. It benefits me by keeping files accessible anywhere, making backups easier, and simplifying file sharing and collaboration.”

Very easy to sync files across laptop, mobile, and web without thinking about it, and simple, reliable sharing with links instead of bulky email attachments.

our team size increases rapidly and we need to purchase storage..search some time lags for bigger files

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

its replacing scattered files, email attachments..not just sharing in dropbox with a link is sufficient

Honestly, it’s the simplicity that wins me over. I can drop a file in and it’s instantly available everywhere, with basically no friction.

What do you dislike about the product?

The free tier feels really stingy. In 2026, only 2GB comes across like a joke.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

File syncing and access across devices—anywhere, anytime.

What do you like best about the product?

- It's the safest place to keep your videos/pictures and the fact that it provides more storage than a G-drive for free is even better
- UI is also very friendly and clean

What do you dislike about the product?

For a photos/videos syncing platform, it now feels like it has integrated too many features that aren’t really relevant, and the overall experience comes across as overdone - things like AI tools and Notes, for example.

At the same time, it doesn’t offer many of the kinds of features that keep users coming back regularly, like Google Drive-style stories, insta-edits, memories, and similar options.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have always used it as a back-up to Google drive storage. So, whenever my storage runs over in Gmail, I move my data to Dropbox and the process is seamless.

Also, the feature to have a shared folder allows you to keep shared data in a single place and avoid duplicates

It's easy to use and offers many integrations. There are also auto-formatting features that help organize files automatically.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish I could use the links as hosting.

The best thing about Dropbox is that it is very easy to save, sync, and share files. I like that I can access my files from anywhere, and sharing them with others is simple and fast.

Its storage fills very fast. I don’t like that Dropbox gives very little free storage. It gets full quickly, and some important features are only available in the paid plan.

The best thing about it is that it's very helpful to me as a content writer. I need a file to store in a safe place. Dropbox helps me store my files online, so I don’t have to worry about losing them from my laptop or phone. It also lets me access my files from anywhere and share them easily with others, which saves time and makes my work more convenient.

What I dislike about dropbox.com⁠ is that it can feel expensive for the amount of storage offered, especially compared to services like drive.google.com⁠ or microsoft.com⁠, and some of its newer productivity features feel unnecessary compared to its original simple file-sharing purpose.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Dropbox makes it easy to keep all my files in one place and access them from anywhere without worrying about losing them or carrying them around on a USB drive. It also makes sharing files and working with others much faster and more convenient.

The ease of use to download and upload files is one of the best aspects of this application. The fact that majority of the people use this makes it easier for file sharing whenever required.

The application works as it is intended to, there is nothing that I dislike about it.

Seemless file sharing experience is the main reasons I used this application. As a designer I always share files with my clients and this makes it easier.
