Its greats but it can be better

  • June 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes it incredibly easy to store, access, and share files from anywhere. Its simple interface, reliable syncing across devices, and seamless integration with tools like Microsoft Office and Google Docs are especially helpful. The file recovery and version history features are also a lifesaver when something gets deleted or overwritten by mistake.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that storage can get expensive compared to other cloud services. Also, the desktop app can be resource-heavy at times, and occasional sync delays happen, especially with large files. Collaboration features are useful but still feel a bit limited compared to some newer platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of file accessibility, organization, and collaboration across multiple devices and team members. It ensures that I always have the latest version of my files, whether I'm working from my computer, phone, or someone else's device. It also removes the hassle of emailing documents back and forth, since shared folders and links make collaboration faster and more organized. The automatic backup and version history give peace of mind, especially when working on important projects or sensitive documents.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been a game-changer for our team when it comes to file storage, organization, and collaboration. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it simple to share documents, large media files, and even entire folders both internally and with external partners.

One of the biggest benefits is how seamlessly it integrates with other tools we use—Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Slack, to name a few. The version history and recovery features have also saved us on more than one occasion!

The sync functionality is fast and reliable, and being able to access files across multiple devices—desktop, mobile, and web—is extremely convenient. Whether we're working in the office or remotely, Dropbox helps ensure everyone stays on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the free plan is helpful, it offers only 2 GB of space, which fills up quickly with media files or shared folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease ability of file access and cloud sharing

What do you like best about the product?
Not having to worry about where my items are stored. Being able to access client files and information while out on appointments has been a game changer for me
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes have issues with file size and sharing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping us tackle some real headaches when it comes to managing files, keeping our team synced, and working more efficiently—especially when we're juggling multiple projects or working remotely. Here’s how we benefit from it in our day-to-day collaboration:

- Scattered content and version confusion
We’ve all had that moment—someone edits the wrong version, or we lose track of the final draft. With Dropbox, we keep everything in one place and work from the latest version, so we’re always on the same page.
- Inefficient feedback loops
Instead of hunting through email threads or waiting for someone to respond in chat, we can drop comments directly on documents, images, and even videos. It keeps the feedback flowing smoothly and cuts down on those “Did you see my note?” moments.
- Disconnected tools and workflows
Dropbox connects seamlessly with the tools we already use—Slack, Zoom, Google Docs—so we’re not constantly bouncing between apps. Everything just works together, which means we can stay focused on the task at hand.
- Remote collaboration challenges
Whether we're in the office, on the road, or working from home, Dropbox gives us shared access to everything we need. Real-time editing and syncing help us stay aligned, no matter where we are.

Of the best apps for Cloud storage

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
-It is very practical for sharing files: Upload a document and in seconds you can send it with a link. It is perfect for teamwork without complications.
-It syncs well between devices: I can start something on the computer and continue on the phone without any problem. That has saved me several times.
-It has a good version history: If you delete something by mistake or need to revert to a previous version, you can recover it without stress.
What do you dislike about the product?
- The free space is very limited: The free version fills up very quickly. If you don't pay, you have to keep deleting things all the time.
- The app can be somewhat slow at times: Especially on computers with fewer resources (which has happened to me on several occasions), it seems to struggle to start or sync quickly.
- The pricing system is not very flexible: There are few intermediate plans. Either you have very little, or you pay for much more than you really need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed and synchronization with large files: In projects with heavy multimedia, sometimes uploads or downloads take too long, even with a good connection. This affects us when we are racing against the clock.
Confusing web application, especially on mobile: Our less tech-savvy clients get lost navigating the web version on their phones: buttons that lead to downloading the app or to paid plans, without understanding how to download a photo.
What I would recommend is to optimize the upload/download speed and the stability of the sync system, especially for large files.

A reliable ally in the mobile workflow

  • June 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a mobile developer using Flutter, I highly value its ease of use. From the get-go, setup was quick and painless, which speaks volumes about its ease of implementation. I use it daily to share assets, builds, and documentation with my team, and its high frequency of use is justified by how well it integrates with my workflow.
The available features cover practically everything I need: real-time synchronization, version control, cross-platform access, and easy sharing options. I also highlight how well it integrates with other tools, which is essential when working with multiple services and environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the overall experience has been very positive, customer support could be more responsive. On a couple of occasions, I had technical questions, and responses took longer than expected. Additionally, the free plan falls short if you work with large design files or builds; I'd like a little more generosity with input storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes it easy to share builds and assets, access them from any device, and keep everything in sync, saving me time and improving team collaboration.

Convenient Cloud Storage with Room for Mobile Improvements

  • June 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes it incredibly easy to access my files from anywhere, whether I'm on my computer, tablet, or another device. The ability to sync and share documents across platforms is seamless and reliable, which is especially helpful for work on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major limitation is that I can’t attach files directly from Dropbox when sending an email from my phone. This slows down mobile productivity and forces me to download files before attaching them, which adds extra steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the challenge of sharing and collaborating on files with people inside and outside our organization. It streamlines teamwork by keeping files centralized and accessible, reducing the need for endless email threads and version confusion.
