What do you like best about the product?
Without me doing any extra effort my data is safely stored in the cloud. More than once I've messed up and being able to use Dropbox's ability to get previous versions of a file truly saved my bacon. Add to that the easy ability to use your files over various devices and share with others. Dropbox has been for many many years my goto file storage solution.

When someone shares files with me, it's added to my storage allocation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a safe space to store our sermons and an easy place to share it with others.

    E-Learning

my experience using dropbox

  • June 12, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. I can edit my documents on cloud and share it with my team members. I use it almost daily and it has seldom failed me. To new team members, its usable and easy to teach. Customer support is good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could edit files in the google docs and services. I believe that service was recently discontinued. Also, the free users have little storage to begin with, something to improve upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping with teamwork. In this day and age where virtual meetings with members across different regions around the world are the norm, Dropbox is a perfect tool to help. It is headed in the right direction as demand for such services will only grow.

Longtime DropBox user

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use and I can use it across all my devices: i.e. iPhone, iPad, MacBook, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not enough free storage, make you pay for extras.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They're definitely solving a lot of hard storage problems by use of their cloud-based content. Especially when it comes to businesses, I'm able to upload and send entire photo albums, videos, files, documents, decks, all through dropbox cloud and send the link to others for use.

Very convenient and helpful for the past decade

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Dropbox for the past 12 years, since I was in college. What I like most about it is how I don't need to worry about uploading my documents manually to the cloud. It's all synced to my computer, I don't mind paying a yearly fee to have this peace of mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a glitch from the plug-in in my mac... but anytime I take a screenshot in my laptop and I paste (I use copy-paste a lot).. a dropbox url link to the screenshot file name pops up. It is a daily occurance, mildy annoying. I've solved it by deactivating the file sync in my laptop... which is counterproductive of what I like about Dropbox. I would love for this issue to be solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have lots of files to manage and little time to save them. I have lost important files in the past when my harddrive died... so this has been a lifesaver at times.
