Good for sharing data betw apps
What do you like best about the product?
Some of my apps store data in Dropbox to share it with the app in my other device. It's easy to integrate the folders in windows PC file explorer
What do you dislike about the product?
Small free space. I don't mind upgrade but it's too expensive for the small storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use apps in multiple devices. Back up data.
Handy (with a catch)
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is highly utilitarian. I use it to store key documents in the cloud in a way that is secure and relatively easy to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant upselling to upgrade/buy more space is annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fairly easy access to key documents that can be updated live and shared in their latest versions.
So useful but not without quirks
What do you like best about the product?
Organizing and sharing large files. Also sharing with others in an ongoing way. We use it to produce a television program, sharing media files with editors, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I work with people both inside and outside of my company, Dropbox can have limitations. Large files cannot be shared with people unless they have their own pro Dropbox subscription. As this is an occasional use, it is not a dealbreaker. Also, I love how it can sync with my desktop app Dropbox. I wish setting the preferences for what to keep on the desktop app was more of a "one click" option (it is buried in the settings). However, Dropbox is a great system once you have realized what works/doesn't work for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can share files for Avid Media Composer editing easily. Also, we can maintain folders for ongoing use with schedulers and others.
Using Dropbox for uploading receipts and storing/ sharing documents... its perfect
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile app is super easy to use. I add photos directly through the app
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly cant reaslly think of any. THe app and program do exactly what I expect from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a centralized plase for my team to share documents and upload receipts for expense reports.
Great platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Really great how you can access it from multiple devices and integrated it with your PC
What do you dislike about the product?
Not quite sure how secure it is. I always worry about hacking with it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content sharing. There aren't many other universally accepted platforms
Easy and fast
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that I can access my files seamlessly in a lot of different devices. It's very fast and easy to use. I live in Brazil and recently Dropbox allows payments in Brazilian Reais, which really helps me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a Samsung Smart TV app so that I could watch my videos easily without mirroring my laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing my files on my personal computer, phone, work computer, smart TV...
Dropbox is a great tool to store all files in the cloud and still have handy on your PC.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that my files are stored safely in the cloud and also readily available on my PC when I need them. The addition of the "vault" folder was a great idea.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the "Vault" folder available on Mac computers. I have Dropbox on both my work and personal computer and the windows vault is much nicer. The Mac computer does not have a folder...it uses the webpage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of my files safe in the cloud and still easy to access.
Good Resource for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy having an automatic file sync to a cloud based solution that can be used by several different people. The ability to rollback any file to a previous version has saved me and my team plenty of time when we ran into conflicts during projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
One feature that I wish was used in dropbox would be realtime co-editing of files. When using Onedrive, it is easy to have more than one person working on the same file at the same time. This is a nice feature for certain projects. This isn't available in Dropbox and it has a drawback to using the tool. Although this feature would be nice, it is still a powerful tool and has worked perfectly for us thus far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
