Dropbox: The Cloud Companion I Actually Like Using
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Dropbox is its clean, intuitive interface—it feels a lot like using a Mac Finder window. Uploading and downloading files is seamless, and the sync feature is excellent, making Dropbox feel like a natural extension of my desktop environment.
When working on freelance projects, sharing files and links is quick and simple. As both a technician and a creative, Dropbox has been a solid and reliable cloud solution for my workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?
Many times, I ask my non-design friends and family to upload files like pictures to my Dropbox account. However, some of them don’t have a Dropbox account, and when they try to share files with me, they’re prompted to create one—something they’re unlikely to do since they rarely use Dropbox. Others have free accounts with the 2GB storage limit, which fills up quickly. They often get frustrated and end up using alternatives like Google Drive.
If Dropbox offered a simple, account-free file upload option—similar to services like WeTransfer or Blipp—it would make sharing much easier for casual users.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the common problems of scattered file storage, clunky sharing, and manual backups by providing a seamless, centralized cloud solution. Its clean, intuitive interface—especially familiar for Mac users—makes uploading, syncing, and sharing files feel effortless. For me as a creative and technician, it streamlines collaboration, keeps projects organized across devices, and saves time, allowing me to focus more on the work itself and less on file management.
Great software with a great free plan
What do you like best about the product?
That I can have access to all of my documents, anywhere, on different devices
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve been on the free plan for years, and it has limitations on the number of devices you can add. However, this is understandable. If it’s the free plan. Other than that, there’s nothing I dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have access to all of my documents in one place on different devices
Very reliable desktop and software and phone app.
What do you like best about the product?
Integrates well with Windows and my iPhone. Exporting files (PDFs, PowerPoints, etc) as direct email attachments from the phone app is an amazing feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like public shared links to have an expiry date or an option to become automatically deactivated after x days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having access to my critical files at any location and being able to access them on the fly is huge.
Reliable and Satisfied over 10 years!
What do you like best about the product?
The integrated features on Finder app on mac which allows you to use the right click to execute Dropbox features
What do you dislike about the product?
My current level of membership doesn't allow me to speak with an agent over the phone. I think I can only email or chat with one? I pay some dollars (about $150?) to Dropbox but still can't talk to an agent, which hardly makes sense to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud feature helps me to keep thumb drives at home. I work on different computers, tablet, phone, etc, but I have access to my files everywhere. Dropbox helps me remember important things and cherish-able memories
