Beautiful interface but expensive.

What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use it for cloud sync for apps like nebo. It works without any hassle. its user interface is better than competitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its expensive. Why only 2 gb for free users? Why i should pay more than 10$ for cloud storage if big amount of data backup is not required. I think for normal users, google drive is better choice, 100 gb for 2 $
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ipad note taking apps normally sync using icloud, but dropbox support is better choice for me. it accessible from every platform.

Useful for online storage of files

  • December 18, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use dropbox to store everything - work files, personal files, pictures, etc. I have never come close to going over my 2TB limit and I am not at risk of losing everything if my laptop crashes. I've used dropbox for a very long time now and am a huge fan.

It's also very nice as a field biologist that I can access files in the field from my phone! I don't need to have a print out with me, I can just use the app and get what I need. I also often access from my husbands laptop, so it's great to use across multiple devices!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I particularly dislike. Sometimes the desktop app doesn't update regularly and I end up with a ton of files that need to be uploaded, but otherwise it's great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I actually don't use dropbox as often for content collarboration as I used to. I do use it to share things with my husband or access my own files across devices. Sometimes we share work files through dropbox, but it's not a 'supported product' by the university I work at, so we're actually encouraged to use onenote.

Dropbox allows for simple and effective sharing and collaboration.

  • December 18, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is intuitive to use and therefore easy to implement in the workplace, because it does not have a steep learning curve. I utilize Dropbox at least weekly to share documents with my managers. It is very simple to integrate Dropbox into your computer folder system so that the documents can be worked on and saved in the desktop apps, rather than in a browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful if Dropbox provided resources via email for how to best utilize Dropbox's tools and capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows for easy sharing of documents and collaboration within those documents.
