Inaccurate Analytics and Limited Automation/Segmentation
What do you like best about the product?
The editor was good and allowed to create good looking emails for all email services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are not accurate and we were not happy with it. Also the automation and segmentation was not enough for what we were looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have moved on from Zeta for a year now.
Great Support, Effective API, Needs Better Documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that the people are great to work with and there's a good support team. The API works pretty well for me, especially when I use it to push resources to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
API documentation is a little bit off and could use an update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zeta Marketing Platform for sending newsletters to users, and I find the support team to be great.
Easy to Navigate and Customize, with All Metrics in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and customize. Helpful to have all performance metrics on one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like having to do a double login - once for the platform and once again for the customized Tableau data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering all reporting for our direct mail campaign under one dashboard, with custom pull down menus, is very helpful. I like being able to isolate by DMA or by store location, and the additional demographic information is very helpful.
Powerful DSP with Broad Reach and Rich Audience Data
What do you like best about the product?
Zeta has broad reach and is a very powerful DSP that has all of the audience data signals to run any size campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is not as transparent as I would hope. I often have to wait for days to receive audience performance data that needs to be requested through the analytics team. I wish I had the information readily available at my fingertips.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I serve programmatic ads for multiple clients and my agency gets a decent margin from this service.
Top for Conversion-Driven Display
What do you like best about the product?
It's still one of the top programmatic platforms for performance-driven display campaigns, specifically for hitting conversion and target CPA goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool’s lack of updates when integrating with new features or second-party data providers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is capable of generating insights very quickly without having its own retail or purchase behavior data like Google or Amazon. Its algorithm for finding lookalike audiences is highly refined.

The Visual Editor is intuitive and easy to use.

The platform does suffer from slow loading speeds in some areas, especially for calculating query sizes
Working with multiple child orgs can become difficult when you need to compare audiences and data from two separate orgs
Not having a folder structure in the campaigns section can make it difficult to locate campaigns quickly and sometimes the search functions lags
The 'Send Test' option for campaigns pulls a random customer ID and not your own, which can cause complications when trying to test dynamic/personalised content

We were using HTML to build our emails on a previous platform. Moving to Zeta and having access to the Visual Editor to build emails has helped us to speed up the building process and avoid rendering issues
