Effortless Security with Intuitive MFA

  • January 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Cisco Duo as our main MFA security feature and appreciate the ability to have users authenticate twice via password and then Duo push/call. I particularly like the push notifications feature, where I can receive a push to accept rather than having to enter a text number and input code. It's convenient not to go looking for codes to enter when I can just accept a push, and it even shows the location and time of the push. Additionally, the initial setup was easy by just scanning a QR code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is if you got no cell service you do not get a chance to authentic yourself with Duo
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Cisco Duo for MFA, allowing users to authenticate twice with a password and a Duo push. I appreciate not having to search for codes, just accepting a push. It shows the location and time of the push, which is convenient.

Simple Security Solution with Minor Hiccups

  • January 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Cisco Duo to keep our company systems secure. It adds an extra layer of protection with two-factor authentication, making sure only the right people can log in. It’s really handy for remote work since employees can safely access resources from anywhere. I like how simple the push notifications and login process are, making security easy without slowing anyone down. I also appreciate how it integrates well with our VPN and cloud applications, adding an extra layer of protection without complicating workflows. Setting up Cisco Duo was pretty straightforward with simple installation and linking of accounts, and the step-by-step prompts made it easy to follow. I’d give Cisco Duo a 9 out of 10 for being reliable, easy to use, and making me feel confident our systems are secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I’ve noticed with Cisco Duo is that push notifications or authentication prompts can sometimes be a bit slow, which can hold up logging in. Switching between multiple accounts or devices isn’t always super smooth, and setting it up for new users can feel a little confusing at first. If these areas were faster and more intuitive, using Duo would be much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Cisco Duo to keep our company systems secure with two-factor authentication. It's especially helpful for remote work, allowing safe access from anywhere. Its integration with our VPN and cloud apps adds security without complicating workflows.
