Blueshift rocks for future of customer communications.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to centralize our data to create personalized experiences across multiple platforms: email, SMS, website and beyond.
What do you dislike about the product?
Historically, Blueshift was not on par with some of the other company's reporting capabilities. HOWEVER, with the new release, Blueshift has great reporting and even some nice notification capability so I can easily keep my stakeholders in the loop on our programs.

User Friendly with Robust Feature Set
What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift is a powerful tool that offers

What do you dislike about the product?
The in-app reporting definitely has room for improvement. The documentation are not very user friendly. I would like to see some prediction system that helps predict subscription cancels based on user activities and events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blueshift helps our marketers with customer engagement strategy using personalize customer flows and customer journeys. It helps us automate and target specific markets easier. It helps us to create customized campaigns.
BlueShift CRM Platform
What do you like best about the product?
BlueShift makes it very easy to feed data into the platform. After getting acclimated with the event tracking, we were able to easily integrate around 100 events from our booking process to track customers through the purchasing life cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is powerful, but there is definitely a learning curve when it comes to setting up Recommendations (the feature that allows you to customize content, on the fly to each user in your campaign).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With BlueShift we've been able to eliminate multiple vendors from our Clients usage. For instance, a customer might have one vendor for cart abandonment emails, one for marketing, and another for web advertising. With BlueShift our customers can make BlueShift the one vendor needed to automate nearly all of their marketing efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out their developer documentation site, it is robust. Understand the structure of your data before implementing BlueShift. It can be hard to start over if that is not thought out properly.
A Great ESP With A Bright Future
What do you like best about the product?
I've worked with Blueshift for almost 2 years. Through that time, they have consistently improved their platform and added new features such as in app notifications and integrations with Facebook and Google Ads.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been much to dislike, but there are a few areas when my needs are not fully met. What I would like to see in the future is a more in depth recommendation system as well as an algorithm or prediction system that helps predict subscription cancels based on user events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main use for Blueshift is managing user accounts for our SVOD platform. We send push notifications, emails, and manage user account statuses through the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
With Blueshift, it is easy to create complex multichannel journeys from the very first days you start using it. Their segmentation function gives the user a lot of flexibility to build audiences based on behavioral data and many other data points. Their customer support is quick, and the whole team, from Data scientists to engineers has been really responsive to address any issue or customization needed from us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our campaigns target over 20 markets in 12 different languages. Blueshift did not have an out of box solution to make the set up of these campaigns scalable, so there is room for improvement in this area. I need to highlight though that they have worked very closely with us to address this and other challenges in a fast and efficient way.

We want to engage with our customer at the right time, on the right channel, with the right message. Blueshift AI powered platform is crucial to achieve this ambition.
Data Activation Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift has provided us with a robust data activation platform to track onsite user activity married with customer purchase activity allowing us to truly achieve 1:1 personalization. The capabilities of the platform have far exceeded our expectations. The implementation team has gone above and beyond to ensure we extract maximum value from our investment.

So far we have been very pleased with the platform.

Great multichannel marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
Blueshift has been an amazing partner for our company, their multi-channel campaign management platform has allowed us to precisely target customers across Email, Push and SMS while improving KPIs through streamlined A/B testing and data analysis. With the addition of In-app messaging, we can now complete our cross-channel marketing efforts through Blueshift's amazing UI. Blueshifts In-app messaging platform will surely outperform any solution we could have created in-house and allow us to sync and automate all of our marketing efforts on one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Blueshift has been continuously addressing all of my "dislikes". The recent addition of In-app messaging was my companies biggest need and Blueshift has created an amazing platform to operate with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a mobile first company, we are always searching for cost efficient solutions with good ROI. We have slowly integrated most of Blueshifts marketing automation channels into our marketing stack. Having most of our major channels operating through Blueshift has reduced costs across the board and allows us to fine tune our marketing efforts.

Great for Email Developers
What do you like best about the product?
If you're an email developer, you're gonna love Blueshift. Unlike some other ESP's and marketing automation platforms, Blueshift doesn't alter your markup (besides minifying the HTML) or add in any additional vendor specific HTML.
Blueshift also uses Shopify's Liquid templating language for adding light scripting capabilities and the ability to iterate over JSON objects.

What do you dislike about the product?
I mostly like the campaign building features that Blueshift offers, but in that area of campaigns, they are missing features from other big platforms like Marketo and Eloqua, like the ability to easily change data points in a campaign; the ability to push a user to another campaign based on a campaign action; more complex branching options at the campaign level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On the email template level, we're solving the problem of personalization by leveraging data from JSON events, using Liquid.

On the technical side it has been easy to implement and any time we´ve had a technical challenge, you guys have always been ready and given quick replies
What do you dislike about the product?
Grasping the concept of campaigns, segments, recommendations and how it all connects takes some time to get through. It's a big concept and takes time to get into.
When thing that might need a better ux is how blocks are, you are never sure if you are in a block or you forget to select it and then create a new block.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From the technical side, this simplifies the communication to our customers and gives us all kinds of flexibility. I look forward to extend this even more, pushing data with webhooks to other systems even doing our own implementation. Next step for us as well is to do cross domain marketing, this will be really powerful and exciting

This is a process implementing system like Blueshfit, getting up to speed and using its full potential will take months/year. But keeping discipline gets you there
