Boosts Team Collaboration with Ease, Despite a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I really like monday Work Management because they've constantly updated it. I've used it in the past for a previous job, and I thought it would work well for my current position. I really enjoy the ease of use despite its many different components. I appreciate that it's always pushing the boundaries of improvement and giving us more options on how to use the platform. Additionally, I like the social media-like aspect where you can see who's viewed posts and access all information in one place, which is super helpful for team communication. It also has options for showing data over time, which is something we work a lot with, and I find that really useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that a lot of times, I can't necessarily find what I'm looking for in the tutorials when I need an answer on how to do something. Automation, in particular, is a powerful tool, but it's not easy to navigate. It would be really helpful if it were a little bit more easier to navigate. Also, some of my teammates find it harder to navigate Monday Work Management. It doesn't come naturally to them, and considering it's a bit more high-tech, it's a struggle for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find monday Work Management helps manage team hubs, track progress, and view comments and posts with everyone at once. It provides a social media-like space for transparency and integrates data over time, which suits our data-driven work.
A Vast, Helpful Tool That Makes Tracking and Organizing Easy

I think it's such a vast, helpful tool. Once you look try the different tools, filters, views, etc. you really can make tracking/implementing/trafficking/organizing so easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are still some kinks to work out, specifically with the AI recommendations. I asked it to provide a simple formula to auto-move things into a specific group, based on a column change of a formula, and AI recommended a specific automation, and when I went to add that automation, I keep getting an error message. And when I try to make it manually, it doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping our cross-functional teams work smarter together. That said, I still think there’s a HUGE learning curve, especially as our teams have grown so much over the last 5 years I’ve been using it at this company. There are definitely more opportunities for basic Monday trainings with our corporate teams, particularly as part of the onboarding process, and that should be a baseline expectation.
For me personally, I use it literally every single day at work. It supports cross-functional partnership, helps me stay organized, streamlines conversations, and also keeps things organized when working with our agencies.

One of its biggest strengths is its visual interface, which makes it easy to build boards, track progress, and customize workflows without needing deep technical knowledge. Features like automations and integrations help reduce manual work, especially when managing repetitive tasks and coordinating across multiple systems. From a usability standpoint, I'd rate it around a seven out of 10. While the interface is intuitive for basic functions, more advanced configurations can take time to fully understand. However, once complex workflows and dashboards are established, they run efficiently. The program makes it easier to track my progress on projects across the board.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is a bit steep, especially for advanced features. It can get complex at scale, which makes it harder to manage highly technical workflows. Also, setting it up wasn't that easy; we had to hire people to help us get it up and running.
