Great first step into programming
What do you like best about the product?
Provides low code options for quick reconversion to software developers, while also allowing users to slowly ease into native code, whith high quality results from day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
A small downside is the higher effort to develop custom code. But usually the functionalities provided by OutSystems or available in the Forge are more than enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems is solving the issues of shorter timeframes to develop solutions. It benefits me by being simple and quick to use, while having a community available to troubleshoot possible bottlenecks in the development phase

What do you like best about the product?
Very Intuitive and solid platform.
Outsystem provides important tools for monitoring, troubleshooting and code/architecture analysis.
Forge has a lot of components and plugins that can be reused;
Possibility to create easily a mobile app for Android and IOS, with the same code;
Forum/Community that helps to find a solution for solving some problems and needs;

License Price - Too high for a small business, start-up companies, or a developer who wants to build his own app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With OutSystems, I can deliver solutions or fix "bugs" faster, which helps to give a faster response to the client, compared with other technologies.

Publishing makes little bit longer some external support makes little difficult to get in OutSystems

whether where I had a doubt in any problem solving i raise questions in our system community they help me to resolve the issue in possible multiple ways easy way to understand
OutSystems: excellent platform for lowcode development
What do you like best about the product?
Pro: easy to learn platform; intuitive interface divided into sections; good debugger; different development modes (mobile / desktop / tablet); each section is made up of subsections able to immediately find components of the app; the website offers videos and descriptions on how to use the development environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cons: the website offers many informative videos on how to use the development platform and environment but there are very few practice tests or quizzes to practice for the certification exams; possibility of extending the language of use to others (es. Italian)

It greatly improves development times, shortening them; the modalities with simpler and more direct developments towards the faster achievement of pre-established objectives.

That single environment to do all we need for an bussiness requirments. That impress the clints to come up forword to us. More than that easy to understand and its full of drag and drop features.

Dislike in outsystem is that some huge projects are taken long time and more space the outsystem enviroment becomes slow down. That the database sometimes becames unstable.

What do you like best about the product?
I had no coding experience at all before the course and, although I was the only one in this situation and did find it very tricky, I did manage to somewhat pick it up. The instructor was great and the platform itself is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if there was a course specifically for complete beginners with no coding experience at all.

What do you like best about the product?
Widgets and the wrapped functional actions are very helpful to use and manipulate over the applications. And the server upload on an instance after publish is amazing.

Overwrite and less customization of widgets and already created functions and the minimum depth of documentation.

Assignments on the data flow is detected by AI,so the values according to the action or wrapper are suggesting upfront are easy to assign.

What do you like best about the product?
Outsystems are best for fast development and it is more suitable and very easy to config API'S creation and consumption vs other languages. and also Database work is very handy like using joins are very simple and useful.

Divide into modules and take it dependencies and sometimes debugger create confusion. and sometime VAPT (vulnerability points) make confusion because we do not have access of setting files like in Dotnet web config or appsetting.json in Dotnet core. to clear VAPT

Time management and no need to write code just put your logic and magic begin, it's the beauty of OutSystems. So developers were also happy to free he wrote logic only feel the power of outsystems.
