A truly groundbreaking platform
What do you like best about the product?
The strongly integrated platform makes it really easy to manage the full cycle of development. It's nice to have deployment and orchestration in the same line. There's no competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of keyboard shortcuts on macOS version, for example, the navigate backward and forwards keyboard shortcut. Have a little more care with the mac version. Improve shortcuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of deploying systems is amazing. Maintainability is also straightforward. Productivity raised a lot in all companies that adopted the platform as well as the performance.
Security Specialization Certificate
What do you like best about the product?
It is always good for OutSystems to keep up with technologies, innovate, and create new exams for developers in OutSystems. Especially security, which has been one of the most evolved and affected areas in recent times.
What do you dislike about the product?
For this particular certification, I think the study materials were vague, unclear and ambiguous. I also felt that the documentation links for exam preparation repeated a lot of content.
It was necessary to explore much more practical content beyond the documentation provided for the exam.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For this particular certification, it would be great if they would ask those interactive questions after each preparation content. Also try to compress some content into the exam preparation documentation.
Outsystems Review Nick Vandebriel
What do you like best about the product?
I just like how quick it is and how fast you see the results, the built in true change that checks for errors helps a lot too. Integrations are usually very fast too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Styling can sometimes be hard when the customer asks for very advanced styling, usually this is slower because of all the components then regular web development. Also Soap integrations can be a pain and requires .net in a lot of cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems has been automating a lot of stuff at customers that required a lot of man power. It also helps to phase out older systems or to put a new layer on top of them.
One of the best low-code platform on the market
What do you like best about the product?
How fast you can develop in OutSystems. Instead of thinking about your code syntax and losing time, you can focus on problem-solving and creating a solution. The frontend is also very flexible, you can create whatever you want. Even very complex and custom designs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are bugs in the platform. If the bug happens in a component of OutSystems it's hard to solve because they are not open-source. This can be a pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of OutSystems, you can develop Apps and websites very fast. This is great if you use an Agile Scrum methodology. The business needs change a lot, because of the fast development you can always provide the business needs and update the apps fast.

Next to that OutSystems is working on the platform to get better, with features like Integration Builder and Project Neo.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform doesn't always change as fast as the IT world is changing. As a developer, we sometimes have to wait before we are able to use the newest features of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems cares for both clients and developers. For example, with a better Service Studio (low-code and visual development environment) or even an AI assist to make the life of a developer easier.
Simple and a great tool for companies to develop, deploy and manage multichannel applications.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility and adaptation to multiple scenarios. Also the possibility of using components.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, when there's an upgrade, a lot of forge components stop working
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The way we can create simple platforms for complex activities. Flexibility in the UX/UI interface

the process to rectify the mistake made before taking the exam
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us build our application more easily on the platform provided by outsystems
Great platform to get up to speed quickly with lots of ready-to-use elements
What do you like best about the product?
Outsystems has many building blocks in terms of UI and logic that are ready for you to use. Developing screens full of functionality is a lot easier than normal coding. And by re-using existing elements, templates and actions your code will be more consistent and better maintainable. Also, the Forge store is a big plus to be able to implement existing components instead of reinventing the wheel yourself. Besides the technical advantages, the community is helpful and answers for issues you're facing can usually be found.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their new Studio had and still has quite a few quirks and aspects that are not working as expected. I know the team is busy working through all the bugs, but I wish they let more people test before deploying a new version. The Studio is after all an essential tool when developing. Overall, the amount of features they keep adding are for the best so let's hope it gets a bit more stable in a few months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our client manages a lot of itineraries that offer custom-made trips to far away countries. Not only are they managing these trips in our application, but we support many business-side processes that increased their efficiency and helped them save a ton of effort that is better spent on helping their customers. For me personally, OutSystems as a low-code platform saves me the time of typing the same code over and over (such as If-statements or repeats) so I can focus on the things that matter most.
