What do you like best about the product?
I started with Outsystems in 2011 but due to company's requirement I moved to other technologies and got experience on other tools and technologies like .net, APIs, JS, Salesforce.. but The mix of inbuilt and custom implementation that Outsystems Provide has no match.. I found that Outsystems provide best productivity, less time to market, high product quality, and easy for developers.
So, I am glad to join back Outsystems last year and I am enjoying working on it.
As per my Experience I found Outsystems :
Easy to use.
Give more control over implementation.
Provide Powerful debugging.
Very effective maintenance and bug fixing.
Provide smooth user management which also can be integrated with other AD on some clicks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Outsystems mostly provide all the features to ease life of business, users and developers.
No tool to check individual action history.
learning curve is very short but community and training can be more Detailed for complex scenarios and with example.
Also there should be some tool where developer can test his action directly.
Other than these I can not find any Negative.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on an application to maintain/automate vaccine life cycle . Where study related information stored. We are solving multiple automation process using BPT.
Implement very complex logic in very less time and its reduce time to market.

It is very effective tools if you want:
Less time to market.
Product with less bugs.
Product which is easy to maintain and support.
A lot of functionalities are inbuilt in form of Forge.
User management is very good and inbuilt.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create responsive UI, which frees you to create powerful server/client-side logic
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a potential for vendor lock-in when using outsystems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the time it takes to create MVPs in the development process. Customers can see the value quicker.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If are looking for a good multi-experience development platform, I would recommend Outsystems
Very fast and decent development
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use Service Studio and Service Center. Service Studio is very user friendly and clear. Service Center is easily accessible and provides a lot of information in one location. The way you can deploy using Lifetime is also a great benefit from OutSystems. If you have the role to do the deploys, you don't need anyone else, you can do it whenever you need a deploy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The stability of the platform is sometimes not so great. The quality of the code of the OutSystems components is not always perfect. There are a lot of warnings in OutSystems modules or modules that don't follow the architecture dashboard best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems allows me to provide my client with more development in a lot less time, so it's cheaper for them in development terms. The application I am making will let my client's customers make easier requests and allow my client to automate certain processes that need human manipulations at the moment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you ever need fast development and you don't know if OutSystems might do the job, consider them for giving a proof of concept. That might convince you already to partner up with them. Or you can discover yourself how easy it is to make simple applications using the personal environment. Once you're convinced, there is an army of experienced developers and entire support teams ready to create large and complex applications for you.

What do you like best about the product?
I can develop the web or mobile app very fast, the logic is easy to catch up
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Service Studio is stuck and difficult to debug, the forge assets are not enough

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful about OutSystems is low code. The upsides of using OutSystems are that you have everything you will need to build an app.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is least helpful about OutSystems is parent Screen not refreshing after popup closes . The downsides of using OutSystems is security team do not like to enable pop up on browsers.

The business problems is OutSystems helping us solve, simplify business process, web base, mobile, cutting edge technology, with digital experience, low code development, mobile development, end user friendly, easy to use app.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to develop enterprise applications very quickly with high level of security and scalability. Platform is feature rich and very flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Development community is still growing which limits scalability within your organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to automate custom business processes with high degree of customization and integration. Legacy application modernization. Mobile applications.
Developing is really fast!
What do you like best about the product?
Building your applications can be very very fast if you have all needed components, it can get somewhat complicated if you need to develop a new component or if there is no component already created in the forge. But anyway if there is nothing in the forge you always have the option to build it yourself!
What do you dislike about the product?
Costs for objects and users, in the case of users, we do not leverage the use of Users components, we use our own LDAP but still consume users from the license pool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manufacturing Execution system! Fast developing , learning curve to develop is somewhat small specially if you have a programming background group.
As a developer I keep being amazed about the performance of the Outsystems platform.

The extended integration possibilities of the forge, easy data processing, testing and deployment processes.
I like the training and certification programs. Continueasly growing community platform with the Personal Environment on the platform that strongly encourages you to grow your outsystems knowledge.

There is not much I dislike about the platform. It could use more focus on customizing UI and UX and the possibilities of using css for design.

The best is the easy of developing complex UI components and native app feature integration. The integration with other 3rd party modules is quick and easy and quick testing is possible

The back-end process needs future enhancements.

Nothing in particular. But I think the licensing prices might be an issue for small businesses
