My experience with outsystems is good
What do you like best about the product?
The upsides is that there is a small learning curve and you can easily build complex applications and easily integrate with other services.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the way outsystems integrates with external databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't like writing code so developing in low code is benificial for me.
I think the low code tecnology is the future for IT and Business.

I think the Outsystems Platform is easy to learn and very fast to deliver new software.
What do you dislike about the product?
In OutSystems Platform there are a lack of RPA and ETL process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outsystems have accelerated the life cycle of development for new applications. So, the business can propose new features for customers faster.
Good and helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I think this is a good platform for low-code technology and after I have already used this platform I think this will help to do many things, such as an application that has a lot of business value or prove your idea or something else. So you should try :)

The worst thing I dislike about the OutSystems Platform is probably nothing:)

I believe the OutSystems platform will assist me in quickly developing and testing my ideas, which will be beneficial to me.
Low Code platform that revolutionized the software development
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely fast enterprise grade development. Extremely customizable as compared to other platforms. Developers have full flexibility and control over there code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is still evolving. There are few principles that OutSystems still need to refine like multitenancy. The platform is still not stable in Mac. Somewhat more focus is needed on performance of the apps developed in this platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem OutSystems solves is the time constraint. Apps are being developed extremely fast and that is very helpful in a fast and competitive market. Also it enhances the development capabilities.
The awesome UI
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very illustrated, that it is very easy for a beginner to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The questions asked in certification is bit hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is making a big database application is tough in other platforms but in Outsystems, it is very easy to develop and maintain.
Speed
What do you like best about the product?
It is the speed in developing an app or for the web, the ease of understanding, and the quickness in the development process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price and non-customized hosting, even though the tool is free, it would be really interesting to be able to showcase our creation for everyone to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A whole life of studying a certain language and while Outsystems the study is much faster.

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems has taught me a lot. I really commend the study content that has been put forward to use as guided paths. I used the material to study for my certifications. The support from the community and the documentation provided makes it easier to find solutions whilst using OutSystems.

Not being able to deploy apps from a personal environment

OutSystems is shortening the time frames of projects and it works for big or small projects.

Minimal use of code. More use of high-level language

No Java. Only javascript, html, and C #.

The documentation is always up to date and the community supporting it is great. Also, it's very intuitive even for non-backgroundd computer science people.

Some languages are still not available to work with, would love to see Outsystems breach into the BigData/DataScience fields.

What do you like best about the product?
The agility to change and how easy it is to business work together with IT team toward an excellent delivery. We are able to go live with dozens of applications every month and sooner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The license model doesn't reflect the real market needs and their changes almost every year on that topic causes a huge impact on our customers and how the app is developed when taking into consideration some license limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time to market is the most important for us and OutSystems has been able to fulfill the deadline, plus the learning curve for developers joining our community and projects.
