Very please work with continuously evolving product
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems keeps evolving the product, making the customer choice easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
OutSystems should present and be clear on all the options for when a customer wants to stop using the platform and continue developing the code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on a technical sales team. So I am facing several different problems in different industries. Usually, the most difficult barrier is the pricing.
Visual programming for high complexity with a lot less worries
What do you like best about the product?
I just love the amount of abstraction OutSystems provide. I can focus on funcitonality code quality and UX while getting real time feedback from my IDE on best practices. The 1-click-publish is an awesome feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I did not find a real dislike. If I really have to mention something, it would be that you don't really know what is being optimized in what way. But as it just works realy great, I'm not worried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating helpful applications with a great user UX/UI experience for customers, just gets me really warmed up. a small change in UI can be implemented and demonstrated within minutes. Somewhat complexer changes can be demonstrated within just a few hours to some days. So basically I find high effectivity from my efforts

What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems helps us build a quality product for our clients in faster development. What I also like about using the OutSystems is, this platform is constantly improving their product; they develop a lot of tools that can help our coding experience and allow us to improve our services.

I am too grateful to dislike anything about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of user transactions for our clients. By creating a product that helps our clients to be more efficient in their business process. It helps their business to increase their performance and gives them more time to do their other responsibilities.

Faster Development Cycles. Quicker WYSIWIG aspects while development. Very fast support response cycles.

CUstomers should be aware of Outsystems much before embarking into large engagements.

Built an meal planning and delivery application for a chile customer and now supporting a finacial services customer in Australia and retail customer in europe
An experience from a traditional dev about outsystems
What do you like best about the product?
Everything about outsystems is simplified. Basic thing you need to worry about is the entity relationships(data model) then you just need to drag and drop everything into the screen and voila, basic application is created!
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming from a traditional development setup, I feel like there are flows that is still unclear to me. Like which data will be get first and which will be last.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deploying systems in a limited time. Mostly ecommerce site. Due to the reusable, multitenant and secure nature of outsystems, it is easier for us to just code once and just give different access to different clients.

Outsystems is fast and easy to develop mobile or web-based applications and it is the only tool in the industry which can deliver actual results and profits to any organization

Not much, but there are minor things which can be improved and the good thing is Outsystems has a place called "Ideas" where you can share the things that you think need to improve. And the team actually looks and considers all your suggestions.

Optimization on legacy applications. Already passed to several areas and been able to understand client business challenges.

100x velocity/productivity and other similar speed claiming puts everyone in the edge...a little bit too much

the current solution is cordova-dependent for mobiles applications

no much of awareness of low/code in the markets still. some limitations sometime.

OutSystems is solving the biggest problem of time to market and continues change requests. For me, I see these two are easily solved with outsystmes
