Not having to deal with all the complexity from building software, that doesn't add value.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to let us concentrate our skills where technical expertise is really needed, instead of loosing time with repeated technical tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Version control over partial developed features (layout, logic, data...) and be able to decide what goes for that release without having to compromise too much (branches...).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main business benefit I keep seeing addressed on all these customers that embraced this low code platform is the ability to adapt change and let the requirements come and go with no real pain. IT starts to be aligned with business and is now challenging product owners to give them more work to tackle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have the ability to setup a "factory" with several applications being developed on a fast pace and always changing environment, then you'll have the return on investment more quickly than you can imagine.

What do you dislike about the product?
Price. As an agile software development firm representative, we find some projects are lost due to the fact that the prospects cannot understand the benefits of such technology - ideally this should be suitable for all our projects, independent of the customer size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplifying the development process for coders, by automating manual processes, low-code development makes it easier to create flexible apps to get specific tasks done.

There is nothing to point out to Outsystems.

I have been working in different business areas(insurance, financial, education, transports, health,...) and in most part of the applications used I didn't participate from the beginning but it was easy for me to start developing by easily understanding what has been done by other people.

In large environments, with hundreds of applications, the architecture must be very well designed for the whole environment to be suitable for changes and updates for a single or severall applications

You can develop something functional in a very short period of time with very little code.
There is a lot of information available with a lot of quality.

What I least like is the need to do many Querys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems solved are several, depending on the project in which I'm inserted, the biggest advantages of the platform are the procedures all well documented.

Terrible licensing. Rules change every year.
