Outsystems a new platform for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Quickly learn and easy to understand. Very friendly and you don't need technical skills to begin

Licence costs are the huge problem to continue with outsystems

Web application for everything and any kind of business
It has been great and regain the passion for development.
What do you like best about the product?
It's great. From the ease of integration and the fastest generation of apps, to the eye-appealing apps with the silk ui widgets which saves a lot of time and lines of code doing all the same functionalities all over again.
What do you dislike about the product?
We're always depending on our ISP, which sometimes can be a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm implementing an order system for a retailing company. Learned all aspects of an application development, not only backoffice but also front office which was not something that i was used to. Now i feel i'm a more all-around developer.

The Ability to Rapidly deliver business value. We were able to get to a Business Relevant level of development, which added value, within 2 weeks, with weekly improvements thereafter.

Pricing is expensive, especially for mid-market.

Really, really fast development, integrating both web and mobile to meet deadlines no one believes in. Capacity to execute little changes without much hassle, and the security of continuous deployment features and checks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Database data migration between environments is limited (now already exists a Forge/Marketplace component, Data Migration Manager or DMM, that can do it seamlessly).
Integration Studio can be used to load data into or outoff the platform, but the above component (DMM) is still needed for high volume simple and quick operations.

Web based systems, as homebanking portals, insurante partners portals, insurance or credit simulators (which are subject to rapid and constant compliance changes).

Outstystems Is a low code platform that makes it easy to transform business processes in technolgy. It applies the last trend in technology in terms of user interface.
It integrates without effort external systems, databases, business cases and user interface.
With mobile capabilities, it is easy to develop IOS and ANDROID applications to be accessible offline

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we are a bit tied up to the way Outsystems does things. Since it does a lot of automatic stuff some you would like to make it other way. It should be easier to develop hand made code sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User interface in multiple platforms, and heavy data processing via batch. Application to manage bad credit in banking, where it is used by more than 1000 users at a time.

Outsystems has a comprehensive toolset to develop, deliver & manage large portfolio of enterprise grade applications with matured product features, significant market presence, in house professional services team and an evolving ecosystem.

Nothing in the product. But the partner network could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving out of legacy of lotus notes & for digital innovation. We have made good progress & plan to complete the journey in 2 years.
