What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly helps make writing clearer, more polished, and professional while still allowing my natural tone and voice to come through. I especially like the real-time grammar, spelling, and tone suggestions because they help improve emails, reports, academic assignments, and professional communication more efficiently. It is also helpful for catching small mistakes I may overlook when multitasking or working quickly throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some suggestions can feel overly formal or robotic, especially when trying to maintain a more natural and conversational writing style. There are also times when the platform over-corrects wording that was intentionally written a certain way, which can interrupt the flow of writing. Additionally, some of the more advanced features are locked behind the premium version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps solve issues related to grammar mistakes, clarity, tone, and overall writing quality. It benefits me by improving the professionalism and readability of my emails, reports, onboarding communication, academic assignments, and day-to-day business correspondence. The platform also saves time by catching errors in real time and helping me communicate more clearly and confidently, especially in fast-paced work environments where accuracy and professionalism are important.
Makes Essays, Notes, and Emails Clearer and More Polished
What do you like best about the product?
It mostly helps me in my college work, especially when I’m writing different essays or notes in a more defined way. I also use it to make my emails more refined and clearer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new format is awful. It's much more difficult and labour-intensive to use. It takes you three times as long, and sometimes you have to restart a document several times because the Grammarly assistant won't load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me with my homework and lots of things like grammar, obviously, but sometimes the AI features do not work. In my opinion, I would recommend downloading Grammarly.
Seamlessly Improves Writing, But Premium is Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I think Grammarly is really a great app, and I love it. It helps a lot by correcting mistakes and punctuation errors when I'm writing articles and reports. I like how instantaneous the results are and the right version that I get. The initial setup for Chrome is pretty easy, as you can just install the extension, and on Android, you can download the app to check spellings.

The cost of the premium is a little higher. It can be reduced.

I use Grammarly when writing articles and reports. It corrects my mistakes and punctuation errors, which I like. It helps me a lot, ensuring my writing is polished and accurate.

I have been using Grammarly for the last 7+ years, starting during my undergraduate studies. It was around well before artificial intelligence engines like ChatGPT, etc. What I like most about Grammarly is its browser extension function which helps me when writing or doing shared group assignments on Google docs, Google forms and Google slides which I use daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Grammarly is that the free option doesn’t provide enough spell checks. To get additional spell checks, you have to subscribe, which can be difficult for people on a budget.

Grammarly helps make professional writing easier. It saves time by offering recommendations that improve your writing and help prevent grammar errors. It also makes resume writing easier and helps you save time overall.
Easy to Use, But Occasionally Misleading
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly to autocorrect a lot of my work in documents before I send them off. Grammarly is quite easy to use, and it's quite easy to autocorrect from the work that I use. It's very easy to apply corrections when the tense is wrong or when a word is incorrectly spelled or when there's a better word that can be used. Also, I can use it across all of my devices, including my iPhone and computer. The initial setup was pretty easy with a short introduction, and it wasn't hard at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes get false positives from Grammarly. It gives me corrections that aren't actually correct. It's quite rare, but when it happens, it's pretty frustrating. It might be due to the differences between US and UK English. Also, Grammarly can be a bit expensive. I used to have a pro license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly to autocorrect my work in documents before sending them, and for insight on better word usage. It's easy to apply corrections, spot wrong tenses or spellings, and use across all my devices.

One of the biggest advantages for me is how well it integrates with platforms I already use, especially Gmail, Google Docs, LinkedIn, and Slack. I don’t have to copy and paste text into another app because Grammarly works directly where I’m typing.
The grammar and spelling corrections are fast and usually very accurate, but the feature I personally found most useful is the tone detection. Before sending important emails or messages, I can quickly check whether my writing sounds too formal, too aggressive, or friendly enough.
