Grammarly Makes Writing Clearer, More Concise, and Error-Free
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly helps with writing assistance by identifying and correcting errors, and it also helps me make my writing more concise, readable, and clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version of Grammarly is very limited, and the premium plans are costly. It also has the issue of frequent updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with proofreading emails and reports. It also helps clarify the tone of the reports.
Real-Time Writing Help That Makes My Emails and Reports More Professional
What do you like best about the product?
I love Grammarly’s real-time grammar and clarity suggestions while I’m writing. The “Refine” feature helps me tighten sentences and improve tone without changing my meaning, which has made my emails and reports much more professional. I also use the browser extension every day so I can polish content across different sites, and the plagiarism/citation support is a huge help when I’m working on longer documents. Overall, it’s saved me a lot of time by catching issues I’d normally miss after proofreading.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does help me catch basic grammar mistakes, but I mostly dislike how intrusive and distracting Grammarly can feel while I’m writing. Many of the suggestions come across as generic, and at times it “corrects” sentences in a way that removes my intended tone or even shifts the meaning. I also find the feedback can get repetitive—especially in longer pieces—because it keeps underlining text and proposing the same types of changes over and over. Overall, I’d prefer more accurate, context-aware recommendations, along with better controls to reduce the noise and make the suggestions align more closely with my preferred style.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Grammarly, I often struggled to catch grammar, spelling, and clarity issues—especially in longer emails and reports—so I ended up spending extra time re-reading and still sometimes missed mistakes. I also worried about tone and whether my writing sounded professional enough for clients and teammates. With Grammarly, I can quickly spot problems and get clear suggestions while I write, which helps me improve the flow, tighten my wording, and keep a consistent, professional tone. As a result, I submit cleaner documents more quickly, spend less time editing, and feel more confident that my messages are easy to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Grammarly because it's easy to use and helps me correct mistakes very fast. The UX is nice, and I haven't had any technical or performance issues so far. It integrates nicely with most of my apps, like Google and Slack, which makes it even more convenient for me. I also found the initial setup to be super easy, which was a great start to using the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it's a pity to need to pay for so many different features. It would be nice to be able to define which things are important to be fixed sooner, since there's a limited amount of fixes per day. Maybe I want to prioritize grammar before vocabulary and rephrasing.

I use Grammarly to ensure my writing is correct for essays, communications, policies, and emails by accurately checking phrasing and vocabulary.

What do you like best about the product?
I am severely dyslexic, and Grammarly really helps me correct my silly mistakes. Mistakes like reversing letters and correcting words that I usually misspell.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly is constantly asking me to log in while I am typing on webpages. It is very annoying. This has been going on for me for a couple of years now, and this problem should have been corrected by now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes my wording is dyslexic, and Grammarly will point this out and offer a suggestion to correct the error. Plus, Grammarly is always correcting my spelling, as it has done while typing this.

The amount of free text correction suggestions sometimes does not work as intended. If there are free text suggestions remaining for that certain day, the user should be able to use those, but sometimes it is not possible.

I use Grammarly to check everything I do on my laptop, including emails, social media captions, playbooks, and chats. It catches everything. I find the plug-in amazing. The initial setup was very easy.

You have to upgrade to get simple text corrects, it should just be free they are so simple.

Intuitive and Useful, But Can Be Intrusive
What do you like best about the product?
I usually use Grammarly for personal things such as emails, reports, and writing. It helps me with my blind spots of grammar and helps me word myself in a way that comes across clearer. I like the fact that it is intuitive because you can tell it when a word is used that is slang and add it to your personal dictionary. Even though I write a lot of professional emails and correspondence, sometimes I like to use slang or jargon that's well-used within my team. Being able to add my own words to a dictionary helps me to use these effectively. The initial setup of Grammarly was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's very intrusive, like the bubble that comes up for edits can be in the worst place for what I'm trying to do. I often shift between screens and pages to get my work done. I wish there was a way to turn it off until after I am done writing my email or passage.
