Grammarly Ends Editing Fatigue with Always-On, Top-Tier Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly solves the problem of 'Editing Fatigue.' When I’m deep into a 10-page business management report, it’s easy to miss subtle errors or lose my professional tone. Grammarly acts as a 24/7 peer reviewer that catches those slips, ensuring my grades reflect the quality of my ideas rather than my ability to spot a misplaced comma.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the technical accuracy is top-tier, I would like to see more diverse options for writing styles. Currently, the tool is heavily focused on "Correctness" and "Clarity," which is great for standard academic work, but it can feel a bit restrictive when I want to lean into a more creative or unique brand voice for my business. I’d love the ability to toggle between more specific "Personas"—like a storytelling style for marketing or a highly persuasive style for strategic proposals—without the AI constantly trying to pull me back to a standard "Professional" or "Academic" tone. It sometimes feels like it wants everyone to write in the same "safe" way, which can stifle a more distinct personal or brand personality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often have to switch between high-level academic writing for my marketing studies and a more accessible, community-focused voice for my business. Grammarly helps me manage these transitions by flagging when my tone becomes too informal for an assignment or too "stiff" for a customer, helping me stay consistent across different platforms.
Vital Tool for Non-Native Professional Writers
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly daily for professional emails, internal docs, blog posts, customer-facing copy, and Slack messages. Since English isn't my first language, I love how it catches grammar mistakes in real time, making me confident when I send messages. The real-time grammar and spelling suggestions are great, especially how it works seamlessly across Gmail, Slack, Google Docs, and Notion. The tone detector is useful for realizing when a message sounds harsher than intended. The browser extension is super stable, providing fast suggestions. The initial setup was straightforward, taking less than 5 minutes for an individual user.
What do you dislike about the product?
The premium pricing feels high if you compare it to general AI tools that now do similar things. Some suggestions can be too pushy, particularly the rewrite ones, which sometimes change the meaning of what I want to say. The Spanish support is much weaker than English, which I would love to see improved. Occasionally, the extension stops working in some apps and you have to refresh. The desktop app feels less polished than the browser extension and I rarely use it. The tone rewrites for 'more confident' or 'more diplomatic' sometimes change the meaning more than I'd like. It would be nice if Grammarly worked better in apps like Notion (it's there but the inline suggestions are not as smooth as in Google Docs).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly for professional emails and documents, as it catches grammar mistakes and tone issues, boosting my confidence. Real-time suggestions prevent mistakes and awkward phrasing, helping me trust what I send and write faster, avoiding repeated re-reading.
Polishes Communication but Needs Less Robotic Suggestions
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use Grammarly for grammar and spelling correction, vocabulary suggestions, writing style enhancement, and professional communications. I find its skill to find spelling mistakes and grammar suggestions particularly effective. It helps with my grammar and spelling mistakes, provides stylish vocabulary, and improves my communication. Using it for LinkedIn posts is also quite helpful. The initial setup was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it polishes sentences too much, making them sound generic or robotic. There are repetitive and obvious suggestions, and the tone detector isn't always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly for grammar and spelling corrections, vocabulary suggestions, and writing style enhancement. It helps me communicate better and write LinkedIn posts.

Effective Spell Checker with Minor Integration Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly mostly for work, and I love that it's easy to understand and mostly catches corrections. It's a better spell checker than what is in Google/Word and helps with the tone in my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it does not work in Google Chrome. It shows it's there, but it does not make suggestions. I also wish it would learn common things that I dismiss, like proper names that have unique spellings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly as a better spell checker and to help with tone in my work. I love that it's easy to understand and mostly catches corrections.

Easy to Use but Needs Refinements
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy Grammarly is to use and how accurate it is in correcting my language. It's a simple pop up in my email that shows me errors and suggestions very easily, and it doesn't take much time to make corrections. The initial setup was incredibly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets caught up in a loop where it makes a suggestion, I fix it, and then it makes a suggestion to change it back to the old thing, and it just goes back and forth without deciding what it wants to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me present myself better in various communication efforts, whether formal or informal. It's easy to use, accurate in correcting my language, and shows errors and suggestions quickly, helping me articulate ideas despite not being the best at it.
