Easy Setup, But Syncing Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for proofreading and rewording clunky sentences. I like the ease of turning it on and off and find the apps easy to install. The initial setup of Grammarly was also easy, which is a plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The extension vs Word plugin doesn’t sync all the time to produce the same results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly for proofreading, spell checking, lookups, rephrasing, and improving clunky sentences.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for composing emails and preparing SOPs, and technical documentation. It really helps me frame instructions and present issues clearly. The Chrome extension's integration with every website or application is the most attractive feature for me. Its capability to help with documentation, while being enabled in the background, is invaluable especially since most of my work is online. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be incredibly easy, I'd rate it a 10/10 for how seamless it was.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it doesn't understand the context of the message or sentence, which can change the tone of my writing. I've noticed it's less effective with small, 1 or 2-line sentences compared to larger texts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me clearly frame instructions and present issues without misrepresenting words, ensuring clarity in emails, SOPs, and technical documentation. The Chrome extension's integration supports my online workspace activities seamlessly.
Effortless Error Detection, Needs Better AI Accuracy
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for its grammatical error check system and it makes checking my writing on the grammatical scale easy. I like its grammatical error system and AI detection system, which checks for grammatical errors in my writing and suggests the correct grammatical sentences. It also lets me know if the writing I put in has used AI or not, telling me the percentage of AI used in particular words or sentences. Another feature I also like is the paraphrase tool, which is really great even though I use it less. Setting it up was easy because the design of the website is pretty smooth, making it a good experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess sometimes the AI detection system has some errors. It tells me that I have used AI even though the article was completely written by me. The most common issue is with punctuations and emdashes; if someone has used too many emdashes or punctuation, Grammarly terms it as AI. A good professional writer would choose those punctuation marks in their writing, so I think it needs improvement there.

I use Grammarly to check grammatical errors in my writing, eliminating the need for manual proofreading. It also tells me if my content might be AI-generated and offers a paraphrasing feature.

I don't like that Grammarly is paid. You have to pay and get benefits from it, but some people who cannot afford it don't have the same access. It would be nice if the free version was improved, especially for students who rely on Grammarly.

I mainly use Grammarly to keep my professional communication sharp. I really like the tone detector. It’s helpful for making sure my emails don't sound too blunt or demanding when I'm in a rush. It usually catches when I need to soften my language before I hit send. Actually, the Personal Dictionary is a life-saver. I deal with a lot of internal project names and industry jargon that usually get flagged as typos. Being able to add them to my dictionary so Grammarly ignores them across all my apps is a huge help. I use it constantly with Slack and Gmail. Since I'm in those apps all day, it's nice that the extension just works right there in the text box. It's way faster than copying and pasting everything into the Grammarly app itself. The setup was pretty seamless for the whole team. We just sent out the invites and everyone was able to get it running on their own without needing IT help. I recommend it to anyone who works remotely because it helps bridge that gap in communication and ensures you always sound professional.

Sometimes it struggles with technical jargon. I use a lot of industry-specific terms, and it constantly flags them as 'typos' or suggests common words that actually change the meaning of what I’m saying. It’d be great if it was a bit smarter with niche terminology.
