Take your writing to the next level; the world is waiting for our next poet laureate!

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Grammarly is the way it has helped me improve my writing dramatically! Grammarly’s heuristic learning algorithm does more than simply make suggestions; it shows you alternatives and how to make suggested corrections with ease, such as the dreaded comma splice, how to properly use a semicolon, and other more common punctuation choices that novice writers face. With the help of Grammarly, I have gone from an inexperienced community college student who rarely took the proverbial pen to paper to writing Ivy League-level essays with ease on a regular basis. Don’t hesitate for a minute, sign up with Grammarly today and learn to write correctly, anytime, and every time!
What do you dislike about the product?
There needs to be more adjustments in how many suggestions Grammarly makes for changing the words I choose. If I want to use more detailed; what some would consider more flowery English, that’s my choice, and I’m sticking to it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tend to dictate my essays and using Grammarly to catch commas or drop proper punctuation is a godsend! I’ve also taken to using the plagiarism checker on a regular basis.

Efficient Writing Helper with Room for Legal Customization

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for all of my work and school emails and for checking my writing in legal contracts, memorandums, and legal letters. I find that it catches typos and grammar mistakes much better than the internal checker in Word. It helps smooth out my writing and improve brevity and clarity, allowing me to quickly jot down my thoughts and then use Grammarly to make them sound better. I like that it color-codes the issues it spots, such as red for correctness and blue for clarity, which makes editing my documents easier and more formulaic. I can work through my mistakes by color, and it feels much more organized. Additionally, the initial setup of Grammarly was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that it had a feature where you could tell it to ignore certain 'incorrect' components for a specific document. For example, in legal writing, we often define and capitalize terms that would not be capitalized in 'normal' writing, but that should be capitalized in contracts. Grammarly flags every single capitalization of the word as wrong. There is no feature to tell it 'for this document, Company should be capitalized.' The same goes with contractual writing. A common sentence in a contract might be 'Company agrees to pay Employee for his services.' In addition to flagging the capitalization of 'Company' and 'Employee,' it would also attempt to add 'the' before each of these terms. There is no option to tell it 'for this document, stop marking this as wrong.' The only option is to tell it to ignore—but I don't want it to ignore for everything, just certain terms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly catches typos and grammar mistakes better than Word, smooths out writing, and improves brevity and clarity, helping me write faster and more clearly.

Seamless Multi-Platform Writing Assistant with Minor AI Bugs

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly for writing user and developer documentation. It helps me check my grammar and spelling efficiently. I appreciate having the Pro version, which allows us to ensure our articles align with the company's style guide. I like how I can use Grammarly for any application, including Safari, Chrome, and Word. It works seamlessly, regardless of what website or software I am using. The desktop application for Grammarly saves me time as I move quickly from program to program. Setting it up was very easy, and I had it up and running within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly sometimes has a bug with the AI suggestions. It will recommend a change, I accept the change, but then it only pastes part of the suggestion or cuts into another word. The way Grammarly overwrites existing text isn't always perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly to check grammar and spelling in documentation and align with the company's style guide. It saves time by working seamlessly across applications like Safari, Chrome, and Word.

Grammarly as an accessibility tool

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly as an accessibility tool; it helps me make sure I am using the right words when I can't tell the difference (e.g., definitely vs. defiantly).

It helps with my grammar and sentance structure, allowing me to write confidently. This is something that I would otherwise struggle with due to my writing disability.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not handle LaTeX syntax very well. Grammarly often tries to apply grammar rules to what is essentially coding text.

The second thing I dislike is that I can't have two writing style profiles. I work in science writing, and I do creative writing in my spare time. I use Grammarly for both. I wish I could have two different profiles, tuned for each style, as they are so different.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly as an accessibility tool; it helps me make sure I am using the right words when I can't tell the difference (e.g., definitely vs. defiantly).

I like the features of Grammarly. I have no dislikes about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
better articulating my thoughts.

Simplifies Writing but Needs Platform Consistency

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Grammarly simplifies my writing, making it clearer so I write better. I also appreciate the document writer feature, which allows me to write things out before pasting them into a document.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it doesn't work on all platforms and the removal of the 'tab' corrections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly improves the clarity and spelling of my writing, simplifying it and helping me communicate better. I also like using the document writer for drafting my thoughts before finalizing them.

Effortless Grammar and Style Enhancement

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Grammarly easy to use and very intuitive. The bubble presence on the screen makes it easy for access. I also enjoy the 'Improve it' feature when I select a text as it instantly phrases my draft and reduces redundancy, making it crisp and classy. The initial setup was very quick and easy, and on top of that, I'm highly likely to recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't read prompts directly. I have to elaborate on what to do. When I select a word and then give a prompt casual it can't read it. I have to write in full sentence that make the selected sentence casual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly for checking grammar, catching mistakes, and improving phrasing. The 'Improve it' feature instantly refines my drafts, reducing redundancy and making them crisp. It's intuitive and easy to use, with the bubble giving quick access.

Efficient Email Assistant but Needs Punctuation Tuning

  • January 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Grammarly for work emails, and it helps a lot with punctuation and spelling. I also find it really useful for rephrasing sentences when I'm typing quickly and miss things. What I really like is that it's better than Copilot because it seems much more user-friendly. I appreciate that it's like having real discussions rather than dealing with very stiff or stale messaging. The initial setup was extremely easy too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like the punctuation suggestions can be very excessive, like, recommending a comma after every 'and' or 'but'. Also, I found some errors where, if I make a change, it sometimes adds a completely new sentence on top of the existing one, leading to duplication. Or it might revert back to the original when I click out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Grammarly for work emails, fixing punctuation and spelling when I'm typing quickly. It helps with rephrasing too.
