Enhances My Writing with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like the platform. It's easy to use and not so complicated. I appreciate that it gives options for professional and informal tones, and is very suggestive. If I give it a word, it quickly suggests another word that fits the scenario or even paraphrases the entire paragraph, ensuring it still makes sense and conveys the meaning. I also like using Grammarly for spell checks, word counts, and making sure my language is precise with the correct use of active and passive voice. I have loved the interface so far; it's easy to use, and I haven't had any issues logging in or using the application. The application has been fantastic so far. Additionally, Grammarly helps me sound more like a professional, making it valuable for my writings, especially those going to senior management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I kind of found it hard to, like, most of the time when I use the plagiarism checker, it kind of references things that are not plagiarized, but kind of says they are plagiarized. I'm not really sure. Maybe because other people kind of write in a similar tone, but I'm not sure how the algorithm picks up what is prejudiced and what is not prejudiced. So all of these, quite skeptical about is how it picks plagiarism and how he looks at AI text because sometimes he writes with AI, and he doesn't pick it up. And then other times, you write with AI, and it picks it up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly for editing my articles, vetting for plagiarism, fixing simple errors, checking spelling, and ensuring language accuracy. It helps me maintain original tone, corrects my wording, and assists in meeting word limits. It's really helpful in my writing tasks.
A Must-Have Proofreading Aid for Teaching English
What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful for proofreading and assisting in the English classes I teach.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a large fan of the AI integration portion of Grammarly

It is solving the problem of students lacking deep proofreading skills and helping to train them in this.

What do you like best about the product?
It works on almost all my devices, it corrects spelling and simple grammar in almost all settings without significantly changing my voice/style of writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, it does weird things like duplicating text in various forms, like Reddit. It also does not always show the tab completion to fix all things at once -- a feature I love and miss when it doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a dyslexic, it's incredibly important for my effective communication. I make mistakes about every 3-4 words and my students say I can introduce 3 typos with just one character.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the content improvements that Grammarly offers. I also appreciate that it provides options to reword the text, which helps in enhancing my work and improving my text and spelling. The initial setup of Grammarly was easy, which was a nice experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new update on the site makes it difficult to find the improvement option. Sometimes it's way off brand and doesn't really communicate as easily as other assistant tools like ChatGPT.

It helps ensure that my documents and emails are clearly written, well-structured, and professional in tone, which is important since I frequently communicate with investors. As a non-native English speaker, Grammarly helps me express ideas more accurately and confidently, improving both clarity and overall writing quality. I find it very easy to use, and I like that it offers many options to adjust the text's tone, such as direct, friendly, or confident. I also love that it has Spanish support, allowing me to improve texts in Spanish, which fits my bilingual workflow well. The language and tone adjustments help me adapt messages to a professional style, saving time and improving clarity and consistency. I also use it on my cellphone to write messages in English via WhatsApp or Slack, and the initial setup of Grammarly was very easy.

I cannot use Grammarly in Google Slides... that would be amazing

Auto grammar correction is what I use most, and that's why I purchased the product originally. However, the ability to improve text with AI tools is rising to the top of the list.

Sometimes the repeated suggestions, after you've dismissed them, get aggravating.

I initially started using Grammarly for my graduate school (PhD) work, and it's been helpful in making sure my technical content is legible and flows consistently. What do you dislike about the product?
When trying to have Grammarly review longer paragraphs, it crashes, and I have to review each sentence one by one. When working in Microsoft Word, I find that both the Grammarly and Word spell checks work against each other.

I use Grammarly to ensure my technical writing is legible and flows well. It speeds up completing assignments and emails, ensuring they're coherent and appropriate.
