What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly to make fewer mistakes in my fast-typed professional and personal emails, and I really like its autocorrect feature. This helps me quickly type responses as errors are automatically rectified without needing manual corrections. Grammarly also solves the problem of bad grammar and punctuation in notes, messages, and emails that I send to colleagues, clients, and friends. I appreciate that it offers a larger and better quality thesaurus compared to what I used before, with responses that feel more humane. Setting it up was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain set of vocabulary that Grammarly fails to understand but are a standard part of communication in the Indian regional context. For example, the use of Hinglish is often marked as an error or corrected wrong due to no close match in English.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Grammarly is very useful, there are a few areas that could be improved. Sometimes its suggestions can feel a bit aggressive, especially when it tries to simplify sentences that are already clear and intentionally written in a specific style. The tone detection feature is useful, but it’s not always 100% accurate and may occasionally misinterpret the intent of the message. Another challenge is that Grammarly may not fully understand technical or domain-specific content. In such cases, the suggestions are not always relevant and require manual review.

I love the reasoning Grammarly gives for its suggestions, teaching grammar in a way that feels like 'learning on the go.' For example, it corrected my sentence 'number of the students are 50' to 'number of students IS 50,' explaining that the verb must agree with the subject. The setup was also very easy.

When someone tries to frame a very long sentence, Grammarly could suggest breaking down that long sentence into multiple smaller sentences rather than suggesting some modifications to keep it long itself.
