What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Snowflake's intuitive layout and design, which makes it easier to navigate and enhances data visibility. This better visibility simplifies reporting and analytics for me, making them easier to read. I also find the initial setup of Snowflake to be very easy, which is a big plus. Overall, I've been enjoying all the features of Snowflake.
What do you dislike about the product?

Secure, Scalable Storage and Smooth Python Integration with Snowpark
What do you like best about the product?
No need for massive server size, Storage capacity is not an issue, Secure security, Performance tuning by using workspace. Integration with python using snowpark
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently not lot of options to work with geo-spatial data, no support of unstructured data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's multi-cluster shared data architecture allows to consolidate all data in one place. Ensuring different departments working on different use-cases works from same real time information
Super Reliable with a Clear, Robust Integration Guide
What do you like best about the product?
Super reliable, with a much more robust integration guide that makes setup and implementation clearer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit cost-prohibitive if you aren't using their entire feature set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake helps us with real-time data delivery and data warehousing. We were losing a lot of our data across disparate systems, but we’re now using Snowflake to host it in one place and make it usable with our BI tools.
Snowflake Keeps Getting Better: A Much-Improved UI Over the Years
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is always improving, and you really have to keep up with all the new features they keep releasing. I’ve been using it for years, and the UI has improved tremendously over that time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can feel confusing at times. I had to read the fine print carefully to fully understand all the details and conditions behind the pricing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s enabling us to maintain a single data lake and a single source of truth. Now, with their AI offerings, we can bring more business users onto the platform so they can work with the data more easily.
Easy to Manage, Intuitive Query Language, and Excellent Micro-Partitioning
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to manage overall. The query language and its dialects feel consistent and intuitive, which makes it a great fit for BI workloads. Micro-partitioning is also excellent, even if it’s proprietary.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think their AI features—and especially the naming—are a bit all over the place. They offer AI under several different names, like Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, Analyst, etc. I don’t really understand why it needed to be split across so many labels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data warehousing, OLAP workloads, analytics, BI, and reporting, etc.
Snowflake: Scalable, High-Performance Analytics for Modern Enterprises
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is easy to use, highly scalable, and delivers fast performance for analytics workloads. Its cloud-native architecture and seamless integrations make data management efficient and reliable
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is cost optimization, as usage can grow quickly without proper monitoring. Initial setup, governance, and advanced configurations also require experienced resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake helped us centralize data from multiple sources, improve query performance, and enable faster analytics for business teams. It reduced operational overhead and made scaling data workloads much easier.
Snowflake: A Powerful Central Data Repository for Real-Time Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake serves as central repository directory for both structured and unstructured data. It offers full data accessibility which enhances intelligence decision-making for our business in real-time. It is one of the most powerful tools in the enterprise that generates efficient analytics with reliable data visualization capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
We experience some errors from data configurations sometimes due to low multi-cloud data handling capabilities. Snowflake has done excellent work in most scenarios by handling our data efficiently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has experienced exceptional growth from secure cloud database management by Snowflake. It has empowered my team to create reports and blend data from many sources without requiring external database. It has systematic model that separates compute and storage data to streamline different workloads.
Dynamic masking in Snowflake made role-based access fast and centralized
What do you like best about the product?
We needed to restrict access based on project roles and fast. That's when i fell for dynamic masking. We applied masking policies directly on columns in Snowflake, no messing with ETL no separate staging tables. I literally wrote ALTER TABLE .... ADD MASKING POLICY and it just worked. Within two days auditors saw masked data while our BI team saw full values. The best part of it was It's all centralized in the account.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the start we actually struggled with time travel billing. We enabled 90day retention just to be safe because our legal team wanted it. Then our monthly bill spiked. Turns out restoring a table from 70 days ago costs storage even if you never query it. Nobody explained that clearly during the training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last month our DPO asked for a data flow map to a new reinsurance partner. I joined tag references with query history and had an answer in 20 minutes. That used to take two days. Plus because Snowflake supports row level security natively we stopped building fragile views for every department. That never happened in our old stack.
Snowflake’s Workspaces & AI Cortex Code Supercharged Our SQL & Python Workflow for Data Products
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is a really useful cloud data warehouse that has been improving over time. Recently, it improved its AI capabilities, which makes it much better to work with and, in my case, reduced query development time by about 10x. It has also helped with Python code development. I recently built a solid process to automate work using SQL and Python in a notebook, and it’s working great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake’s integrations with other platforms have improved. In their most recent comments on X (Twitter) about two weeks ago, they mentioned an upcoming integration with Salesforce that would let you take actions directly from Snowflake. I’m looking forward to that, but as of now it still isn’t supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Snowsight UI has been improving a lot. In the past, it felt similar to using a DB management tool like DBeaver, but with the recent updates—especially in Workspaces for better query development and data presentation—it has become much more useful. The addition of Cortex Code also helps with queries and coding, and more recently Snowflake has added capabilities from top AI LLMs like Claude, Open AI, LLama, and others.
On performance and cost, Snowflake seems like a way to spend less and build a solid ROI case, mainly because it pushes you toward building data products. For example, Cortex Code suggests query optimizations and helps make those improvements real. And when it’s handling window function queries, it’s really fast compared to many engines. It also seems to have a caching effect: if you run the same query again, it comes back faster.
Support has been great, especially around Cortex Code. The Snowflake team also sends emails inviting us to participate in surveys to improve the product, which gives the impression of a strong and engaged team.
Another recent feature is the data catalogue. Even though we use another tool for this, it’s still great that Snowflake includes it built in.

Stable, Scalable Snowflake for Reporting on Large Datasets
What do you like best about the product?
I’m in Snowflake almost everyday for reporting work. Its been stable for me and doesn’t freeze, even when I’m working with large datasets. Writing queries feels straightforward and I rarely need much support to get things done. We also use it with looker and google sheeta, depending on who needs the data and how they prefer to access it. The option to scale compute up during heavier workloads and then scale it back down afterwards is helpful. I also appreciate not having to worry about infrastructure or ongoing maintenance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Snowflake makes it very easy to manage dynamic schema updates, although I’ve also run into some slow performance at times. It streamlines data goverance and removea the storage constraints we used to deal with in traditional on prem databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes all of our reporting data, so I no longer have to chase different teams for files. That alone cuts down on a lot of back and forth during month end close and makes the whole process feel much smoother.
