Brilliant piece of Software

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and helps to keep our systems up to date. We are a small comapny and do not have an IT department looking after our computers. With the free version on Manage Engine I am able to ensure our users are alwyas on a proper patch level and our servers are also kept up to date.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant reminders to write a review. Clicking "Remind me Later" has the effect that you get reminded 3-5 minutes later and this stupid popup shows. Really annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving a lot of time keeping our systems up to date

Replaces Teamviewer us and the risk of running easy accessible remoting software, Patch management and software deployment. is a All rounder but at a price

Its good but still needs a lot work work on dashboard and clarity of the same.

What do you like best about the product?
It very accurate and shows complete details in terms of assets and other perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard clarity can be increased by taking small steps about assets and other features especially when it comes to exporting files according to a particular feature. Rest all are fine .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a lot of problems that Manage Engine EDC is solving such as consolidated data problems, live machine problems, etc. Also, as per my understanding it is one of the best apps for patch deployment and the best part of patch deployment is you can do exclusion one by one or create exclusion group/s. One more benefit is control of USB and other things on devices which is highly helpful when it comes to temporary access (Timer-based accesses).

Free trial experience was so good that I'm buying it for my company

What do you like best about the product?
The list is very long.
- It's the most full-featured product of its type that I've seen. Patch Management, Vulnerability Scanning, Computer Management, Compliance Enforcement, Privilege Access Management, Device Management (comptuers and handhelds). It's all in there. It's so full of good stuff that I can't list them all. I keep discovering new things, too.
- I'm using the cloud-based solution with a server in the office acting as a Distribution Server (patch cache to save on bandwith; easy to set up). They also have an on-premises solution.
- The product has pretty much everything I need to bring my company up to compliance standards for Windows and Linux. It does a good job on the macOS side, but isn't as full-featured as Windows and Linux. This is not a knock on ME/EC -- I haven't found any product that is as comprehensive for macOS as what's available for Windows and Linux. This may actually be a limitation of macOS and not an ME/EC thing.
- I've found the documentation and live support to be very helpful.
- The "proof of concept" and onboarding help I've gotten has been the best I've ever received, not just for products of this type.
- I'm encouraged by the presence of "got an idea?" and "need a feature?" links scattered throughout the product. It shows they're looking to improve.
- Every time I think that it'd be nice if a feature was there, it usually turns out that it is. It's just a matter of finding it. Sometimes it's not where I think it'd be, or it's in a right-click pop-up menu, or maybe named a bit different that I would have thought.
- I'm on a free trial now. I'm definitely buying this product for my company's Windows and Linux machines.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I dislike anything specifically.
- My main issue is that there's so much in the product that I'm overwhelmed. Although it makes me uncormfortable at times, I know it will pass in time. Thankfully the on-line and live technician support has been very good and has jump-started my understanding.
- I wish there was more parity for macOS features (e.g., privilege access management, software inventory, vulnerability scanning) . As I noted elsewhere this may be a limitation of macOS and not MC/EC.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Vulnerablity tracking, reporting, and remediation
- Device management and policy enforcement
- Patch management
- Performing configuration tasks on managed devices
- Privilege access management
- Drive encryption enforcement
- Theft and loss prevention and recovery (e.g., remote lock and remote wipe).
- On-boarding and off-boarding

    Construction

Good product, very robust and flexible

What do you like best about the product?
It seems to do everything we need it to do, and just when we find something else we need to do remotely, ManageEngine has a feature for it. It is a very good tool. Fairly easy to set up. It's taken a while to mold it into what we need, but the feature-rich nature always has us saying that this was the right choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint so far has been the service. The techs are very obviously reading from a script, they dont use or know the product, and when you are engaging them for support, they dont often read previous notes and just ask you to perform the same thing 2-3 times.
I wish it managed old/dead endpoints better
I wish it had progress bars for in progress software deployments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works as a very good inventory management system for all our electronic devices.
Deploying software
