Game Changer!

What do you like best about the product?
The initial reason we looked into MangeEngine Endpoint Central was for the patch management and OS deployment. This was a struggle for our small IT team with a public school district but then we also discovered it had much much more to offer. Software deployment, MDM service and it does more than just Windows devices. We are now able to manage Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, android/Chrome devices all. This has been an amazing asset for our team. And we also have discovered the Self Service Portal which is amazingly helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest part of using this platform for us was the inital setup and learining how much it is capable of and how many diffferent ways you can perform different tasks. I would say that some parts of the UI could be updated and made a little simplier but other than that it is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a public school district with limited funds and staff so it seemed like we were always fighting a loosing battle with Windows Updates and third party patch management. Since implementing MangeEngine Endpoint Central we have been able to keep Windows updates and third party patch management running more smoothly and seamless than ever before. We also discovered the ease of pushing out software to our managed devices which has greatly reduced time spent on chasing down teachers and staff to install new software .

What do you like best about the product?
Smooth proces for patching servers, Patch scan, Bulk Servers reboots and remote toolsare are awesome in Endpoint Central. Creating a group of serversin any type is also awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reporting tool which we required are not availbale in Endpoint Central. We have raised mutilple on-deemand tool requirement throgh raising Support tickets. Few are below.
1. Servers added or removed from Endpoint Central must be trackable.
2. Techinican can be modify the static unique group.
3. Patch stuck shuold be auto troubleshooting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Support of Endpoint central is not very good, its take around a week or more than a week to fix the basic issue. If there is some techinical issue then remote supprt is not easy.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about this tool is that it comes to replace obsolete solutions in the market that apparently did not have an identified repository for security updates, inventory, and even better, remote access to provide support. All in one platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the moment, everything is going well. Let's hope that in the future they create their own antivirus and add it to this solution.

Help with managing security patches, inventory, and remote access to other locations

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Endpoint Central, for my company, is the security of having all the inventory, patch management and MDM integrated in the same cloud service. Ease of use is also a point, because search filters work really well it's easy to find what you're looking for: computers, hardware id's, MAC addresses, warranty status... the list is huge. It really helps everyday work at IT department reducing the ammount of administrative and technical work required to mantain a network of computers healthy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the MDM integration could be better, and account licensing for administrative users can be a bit expensive if you're more than one in your team :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our case, mainly inventory and MDM. Inventory was a headache before using Endpoint Central (AKA Desktop Central), because keeping it updated is complicated in spreadsheets or databases. Endpoint Central makes this easy, and automated reports can be really helpful to transmit heartbeat to other departments (financial ones are really benefited from a lifecycle management inventory point-of-view).

What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy the most about the EndPoint Central platform is the ability to setup and deploy pieces of software to not only devices on our network but devices connected to the internet wherever they may be. Additionally Patch Management is simple enough to setup and get Windows updates deployed to all our devices more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest dislike that we have at this time is a recent change in which you must now accept and device when it is being added within EndPoint Central in which was not originally something we had to do. Additionally we were not made aware that this was taking place until we opened a service request.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Endpoint Central allows us to connect to all our machines across the united states whether their connected directly to our network or not. Also with this we are able to provide software package updates as well ensure Windows updates are being applied.

Can keep applying a patch that is not valid for a version of an OS.

Single point PM instead of scripts or logging on to individual machines.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of having visibility and management of my entire computing environment in a single tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is still a little complex, but it has evolved a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our problems with applying security patches, remote access and English inventory were solved with the central endpoint.

Simple yet complicated

What do you like best about the product?
Pushing software to Windows and Ubuntu machines is very simple to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The app is bulky to install. its reliance on MS SQL is becoming a problem as that is also something that is to be budgted for new users..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch Management and Software Deployments are the main the areas where ME is helping us out.

Good Enpoint option for IT needs

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you can manage your endpoints with everything you need. Patching is easy, love the way they make packaging software and pushing it so user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really anything that I could say that I don't like about this solution. I like how you can contact an engineer at any time during the hours to get assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
patching was the main issue that we had to work through. The second one was pushing applications to computers, which I like that It does all the work wether it be exe or wmi.
