Overall good.

What do you like best about the product?
All in one solution.
Has pretty much all the tools needed for general IT support.
Good reporting ability.
Simply tasks like changing account password on remote computers are quite quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Agent can often fail to reinstall itself after it tries to update, this may be an issue with our group policy but the agent is supposed to not try and reinstall itself if it is already up to date but sometimes it does.
Configurations can get stuck waiting if another is in use and it can be hard to track the issue down in another configuration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote connection to domain computers.
Deployment of software.
Space monitoring.
Report generation.
Remote registry and user administration.
Patch management and deployement.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and management down to the individual end device. The prices are affordable for a small/midsize business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that I often to manually install or remove the agents from the end devices. There is an automatic deployment and removal but does not work much of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It alerts me when a system needs patching, and with a few clicks, I can deploy patches to one device or many devices.

Endpoint central is an amazing desktop management system with a ton of features.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Endpoint central for 10 years now and it's been a great way to manage our desktops and servers. This one piece of software can handle the vast majority of Helpdesk tasks that happen on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The wide variety of addons and build in tools mean that you can manage the lifecycle on devices from beginning to end easily.

It also integrates with a lot of other manageengine tools to make a really cohesive tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's built on java in the back end, so sometimes the interface can be a little slow to respond. The server update process can be a little cumbersom as there is a separate app that is used to perform the updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 300 or so endpoints that we need to manage all over the state. Endpoint Central is pretty easily scalable and allows us to perform all of the remote management and updating that we do easily and performs well whether on-site, across vpn and through the WAN. We do patch management, OS deployment, MDM, software deployment, remote desktop support and a lot of other tasks through this one tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Software Deployment, where we can assign multiple packages at once and it installs in 1 or many PCs at once, that is an amazing feature and it works perfectly most of the time
What do you dislike about the product?
Inventory and clients' machine installation needs a bit of an upgrade as it is a bit finicky. Wake up Client feature can be more efficient too. Also, there should be an option that it doesn't log you out every 15 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making the job lot easier for a newbie IT support tech who doesn't need to do things manually all the time. That saves a lot of time for all technicians with two years or less experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of the UI and the software in general makes managing and centralising windows computers very easy.
I also really like the Self Service feature as I think it's essential.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the Self Service portal look a bit nicer. Sometimes it looks fuzzy etc on some machines, not sure if thats something we need to reconfigure but yeah.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed software to manage our Windows computers, something that centrally manages them so we can push updates, keep track of stock, be able to force settings etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It has all the features that an IT organization expects. Patching, software deployment, inventory, reporting, Vulnerability, OS Deployment in Zero-touch and Security Policy Configurations

Query Report and Scheduled report helps us in lots of ways.
The test and Approve method works well, and it helps to sort out the bugs before deploying to live environments
What do you dislike about the product?
The new Version update Needs to be tested and reviewed before releasing to live environments. Sometimes I felt it hard to get the reports from the endpoints like inventory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patching is a significant difficulty in all organizations. Manage Engine Endpoint Central, like Automatic patch Deployment with Deployment policies, to make it easier.
The Test and Approve method helps us to figure out the Bugs in the New patch releasing

Good remote administration platform

  • April 28, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that endpoint central allows us to manage staff devices on site and offsite with the same platform. This has been phenominal with the pandemic and staff continuing to telework as we are able to connect to their machines remotely to render support. ManageEngine also offers a help desk product and an inventory product that all integrates together. This makes device and request tracking easy and limits the number of different platforms you have to run to accomplish these business functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more detailed documentation about pushing out configurations such as mapped drives. It was very cumbersome trying to figure out the syntax and troubleshoot while it wasn't working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ManageEngine is simplifying the total number of products that we have to run in order to complete remote support, remote patching, and configuration management. The product also does machine imaging. We will be taking advantage of that very soon in the future. As an IT professional it's nice to consolodate software packages for management when you can so you don't have to keep track of so many platforms and/or enter redundant information into multiple systems.

Excellent tools for administration of your devices in your organization, quickly and easily !

  • April 27, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
These tools allow access to your devices quickly, it's an excellent tool for patching your devices in a centralized manner, and it has a self-service that can help many users when they need to install any software without intervention from someone in IT; I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
To deploy OS, you need additional licenses and buy a pool of this license, and one deployment of an operating system represents a license. When these pools of rights finish, you cannot do any deployment. That's no fine!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps us a lot with access remotely to our devices for administration and the administration of the patch of these in the organized form.
