What do you like best about the product?
MEEC has many features that fit what we were looking for. We wanted an all-in-one product for patch management, os deployment, remote access, application deployment, and many more. So far, MEEC has been easy to learn and use, their support has been very responsive, and the product is very feature-rich. While we have not decided on which product to use, MEEC is a strong leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to see a support portal where users can browse, and we can access their PCs that do not have the agent installed. We would also like to see compatibility with more vendors' drivers (HP, Lenovo).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management is huge for us. Right now, Intune is not working well for us, and we need reports of PCs that are not patched. Application management has been great for deploying out of band windows updates and keeping 3rd party apps up to date. OS deployment.
Great tool for Admins
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to navigate and complete tasks, managing users machines and software is very easy and efficient with this tool. We can also track service tickets and previous solutions to issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The login sometimes gets errors, keying in a second time usually resolves this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps solve the loss of user admin rights and software management issues that we face with our government contracts. Offers great productivity
Good patch management software
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about the tool is that it can apply patches from programs from different manufacturers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps what you don't like is that it is handled by a proprietary Manage Engine agent and not some native engine of the different operating systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central Desktop has helped me to manage patches in a unified way, it is also very good to apply configurations in a massive way and it has a reporting module that has helped me to present part of my management as System Administrator
Works, complete and is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It is very complete, we tried out competitors and they all fall short to the functionality that manage engine provides. It is also ridiculously affordable for what it offers.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to why software, or patches failed, sometimes it is very vague and make it difficult to troubleshoot. Need to do a bit of digging, but 90% of the time its because the software requires a reboot to complete its install anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use, automation and pre-made packages. We specfically are coming off a product with no pre-made packages, and no automation. Everything is manual work and is very time-consuming when that work can be used elsewhere.
Great overall!
What do you like best about the product?
Great for small businesses with under 25 devices. UI is plain, but very simple to navigate if pictures and images in your UI isn't your thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how you have to pay for technician licenses. I wish I could have multiple users on the system for free if I am under 25 devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bringing all device management into one UI that is similar across the board, like MDM from Manage Engine as well.
Endpoint Central gives so much information on devices.
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of information for troubleshooting and support
What do you dislike about the product?
GUI takes some time to learn to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have all our asett management and remote software in one place. and solving being able to easily install and uninstall software.
